Always Great

Great food, service and atmosphere. The wine list is phenomenal. If the duck is on the menu I always get that.

This is just an excellent place to dine. The food is of excellent quality, the service was top notch, and their wine list is beyond comparison

Visited with a group of 20 business partners. The venue is cozy, with the mix of the old and the new of Columbia. Dishes were all excellent. Being a Monday it seemed like we were the only ones there for dinner at 6pm. No waiting. Service was fast, efficient, friendly, and the chef came up and greeted everyone. I selected... More

I visit Columbia several times a year and make it a point to stop here for dinner. The wine selection is exquisite and the atmosphere welcoming. Don't miss the the opportunity to stop in if only for the company...and a glass of wine.

Almost every Friday the wife and I join another couple for dinner, and we travel across the midlands in search of a great meal. Last Friday, quite by accident after our original plans fell through we wound up here at the Hampton Street Vineyard. Initial impressions were iffy, we actually missed it completely the first time we drove by due... More

French cuisine with Southern twists, all in Southern portions! From our appetizer (pork belly) to entrées (duck breast, pork chop, fish, and pasta) to dessert (three cheesecake popsicles, every plate was memorable.

I returned to Columbia this year and found the Vineyard better than before. They treated me as a single diner perfectly well and the food, especially the crab cakes, mwas brilliant. Very good value wine and food.

For about the same $12 you'd spend at other spots downtown you can not just eat but dine for lunch. It's white table cloth service bring lunch up a notch. The menu is mostly American, well, presented and delicious.

A good atmosphere but the cooking and attention to detail was poor. Could have been a lot better. Sent back one meal to be cooked properly. Will not be returning.

I've eaten here many times and I never had a bad meal. In fact they were all good. The restaurant itself is a walk-down wine cellar in an old building. The menu changes seasonally and the waitstaff is super friendly. By your second visit, you're treated like a valued repeat customer. The fish, the beef, the chicken dishes are all... More
