This restaurant is on Hampton Street directly across from the Marriott. It has been in business 20+ years and here's why. We arrived for an early Friday dinner hour and were quickly seated and Brittany introduced herself plus gave us the short version of the restaurant's history. We went light for dinner: Soup, Salad and Spring Rolls. The tomato basil... More

Conveniently located right across the street from the Columbia Marriott, this great little restaurant consistently turns out great meals. On a business trip this week my two associates had different dishes than I and we all three remarked how good the food tasted. This restaurant is there for the long haul and puts their heart into the business. Our waitress,... More

This is a recommended stop for a nice meal in a relaxed atmosphere. It seats about 40 people in the main dining and there is also a private dining area located in a large room with one wall full of wine. The food was very good and the service nice. The only negative is it gets very loud when full... More

Aside from the excellent wine list and superbly prepared food, what I like best about Hampton Street Vineyard is how secluded, warm, and cozy it feels. It's low key, but it's elegant. It isn't noisy or fussy or stuffy. It's the perfect place for a celebratory dinner, but it's also great for a relaxing meal on a weekday, or just... More

Very good except for the cheese platter. Served three types and all tasted bland. Fourteen dollars was over priced for what you got. Service was very good.

My daughter and I were in Columbia for the South Carolina Georgia game and to celebrate her birthday. Walked across the street to the Hampton Street Vineyards. Waitress was very helpful on selections. Great oysters for app and duck breast and swordfish were excellent. Highly recommend you visit if you get the chance.

Our waitress at a different restaurant from the night before, recommended Hampton Street Vineyard. We were looking for someplace nice for dinner before going to a show at the Township Auditorium. We were glad we took her suggestion. The atmosphere in the restaurant is very pleasant. We were seated at a corner table by the front windows. I had the... More

Meeting an old friend for lunch, she suggested Hampton Street Vineyard...I had never been. My, was I pleasantly surprised at this spot! We both ordered the same meal, Gazpacho, which was fresh and delicious, and Salmon over Grilled Vegetables with Roasted Corn and Peach Relish, which was equally fresh and delicious. The relish gave the salmon dish a little punch,... More
