Meeting an old friend for lunch, she suggested Hampton Street Vineyard...I had never been. My, was I pleasantly surprised at this spot! We both ordered the same meal, Gazpacho, which was fresh and delicious, and Salmon over Grilled Vegetables with Roasted Corn and Peach Relish, which was equally fresh and delicious. The relish gave the salmon dish a little punch,... More

We had a large party for dinner. The dinner started off fairly well. The drinks, salads, soups, etc were quite good. It was the main course that create a huge problem for us. Myself and my partner ordered, I ordered the Filet and he didn't see anything on the menu that met his semi-vegetarian preferences. However, they did have a... More

Nicely located across street from Marriott. Arrived on Friday evening to half empty room. Room seemed a bit worn, service and food were weak. Crab cake was undercooked. Pluses: filet was cooked perfectly but accompanying potato side was inedible. Would not go back.

Hampton Street Vineyard is a charming restaurant, particularly for those who hate restaurants with a corporate feel. It is tastefully decorated and has a relaxed vibe. It has an interesting menu that proved to be delicious as well. A few dishes referred to Low Country cooking in a sophisticated way - the most succulent fried oysters I have ever tasted... More

15 of us visited the restaurant last week for dinner. The table servers were excellent but he bartender was NOT; improvement is needed in that area. The food was very good with a large variety from which to choose. We ended up trying all the appetizers and those were fine and interesting. The mussells were cooked perfect but not fond... More

We went with a group of six on March 22, 2014 and it was fantastic meal for all celebrating three birthdays. I do not eat pork, lamb or beef so my selection was limited. And I only eat wild caught fish from the North Atlantic, due to Fukishima poisoning the world and namely the Pacific nor pristine Alaskan Salmon now,... More
