I can't believe it took me so long to try it. Since I hadn't been, it was on "my list to try"...but how good can bar food be, right? Well, excellent! I went on a Sunday, late afternoon and I'm sure the crowd varies by day and time but there were all ages, families with kids, etc. great location, it... More

Food and beverage menu is varied enough for large groups. Gorgo chips are a must. Spinach Salmon salad is easy lunch. Sunday brunch excellent.

I thoroughly enjoy Thirsty Fellow every time I go. Whether it be their sandwiches, chips & cheese appetizer or pizza, I am 100% satisfied and happy with my order and experience. It is a great local establishment with a fun, laid-back atmosphere and inviting heated open-air back porch. I highly recommend it, you won't be disappointed!

So I visited this place twice in less than a week and both times were excellent. The first time was a night out with friends and I was introduced to their pizza (had peppadews and bacon) and I just raved about it to my wife later that evening. It was also great to see a $4 draft selection list and... More

Thirsty Fellow is a fun place down by the edge of Campus. Their food was always on point, they have great mimosas on Sundays, and a great brunch. It has books around the walls and a scholarly atmosphere which is fun!

Met my husband for an early weekday lunch - arriving just minutes after they opened. Our waitress, Ashton. was good and efficient and very sweet. She took good care of us. After ordering the "pizza for two" special, it seemed like it took awhile to get our meal. The pizza crust was absolutely fantastic. The pizza itself was extremely greasy... More

Wife and I stopped at this place after reading the reviews here on TripAdvisor. We were pleasantly surprised. Being so close to USC we were scared it would be full of college kids. No the case. Very nice place with plenty of TV's to watch your favorite sports. The wait staff was very friendly and accommodating. The food was awesome.... More

Went to Thirsty Fellow for lunch. Had a grilled chicken sandwich with sweet potato fries. The fries were enough for two people, and the sandwich was also large. Friend had a cheeseburger that was monstrous. Pretty good price for the portion sizes. Typical pub atmosphere near U. of South Carolina, with lots of TV's showing sports, and a nice small,... More

My wife and I ate lunch here before attending the state fair. It was our first time visiting Thirsty Fellow and we both enjoyed the food, drinks and atmosphere. My wife is a vegetarian and ordered the BBQ tofu sandwich and loved it. I ordered the half pound hamburger that came with a very large order of fries. The burger... More

More than just "bar" food. Great sandwiches (like the french dip; steak; burger) - pizza is good (a bit too big for 1 person). Although most of their food you can split. Try customizing your order to change it to fries with the gorgonzola sauce (but ask for the fries extra crispy if you get the sauce). Excellent ice tea... More
