I stay next door at Clausen's Inn when I travel and love coming to Cellar for evening drinks with clients. the food is amazing and the selection of wines and IPA's is a BIG plus! my clients like when I set up small receptions here as they have the big tables and also the smaller intimate tables. Great choice for... More

One of the finest, most innovative restaurants in Columbia. We found this jewel restaurant week and the 3 course $22 meal was unbelievable. One of the best parts was you can buy a great bottle of wine in their wine shop and the corkage is only $10 for wines under $40. There were some fantastic wines priced between $8-15, making... More

Not only is the food fantastic, the service is exemplary. The wine selection is large and delicious, something for everyone...even beer! Their bi-monthly wine tastings on Saturday are a must.

We found this lovely restaurant by accident as we were staying at The Inn at Claussen's hotel next door and just popped in initially to buy a bottle of wine. As the staff were so friendly and the menu looked so nice, we decided to return later for a meal. Our night here was one of the highlights of our... More

Finally, something not so "college-student" oriented in Downtown Columbia. I love this place - great service, great wine, great food. The menu is limited but everything we tried was fantastic! I'm so happy I finally found this place!

Unique menu with great selection of beer and wine. Most of the seating is high tops and community bar style. We sat in the back on a couch and had a 3 course special for $22. Great deal for what you get. Service was great! Wouldn't go here without a date. cheers!

Cellar on Greene was my go-to, absolute favorite restaurant for years. Although the wines and wait staff continue to be attentive, the food quality and portion sizes have declined. I have taken friends and family to Cellar on Greene for years just for their outstanding, signature Tuna Nachos. A change in chefs led to a small change in the recipe... More

Cellar on Greene may be my favorite restaurant in Columbia. Its atmosphere is inviting and casual but definitely has an upscale feel. The wait staff will always share good recommendations for wine and for food, and you always get great service. Best of all, the wine selection is awesome and there are always recommended pairings with the always changing menu.... More

A true hidden treasure in Columbia. The place was fantastic! Great atmosphere along with a fabulous little menu. Choose a three course meal for under $25. And the coursers are plenty big. The wine selection was awesome - and they have $5 wines by the glass which are also good. Go. A true gem in Five Points.

I love Restaurant Week in South Carolina. It motivates my wife and I to eat out more often than we might otherwise and to try some different places. My wife wasn't able to go with me, so I went alone to Cellar on the Greene where we had never eaten. Long line, which I guess is a good thing, but... More
