Best Date Night dinner in town.

Now that our children are older and can look after themselves on Saturday night, we occasionally get a date night. When my husband asks "where do you want to go?" my answer is always "well, you know my favorite place." Cellar on Greene is the perfect date night spot. They always have the... read more

I was there on a Monday after a busy day. I can't recall the server at the bar but she was pleasant and very helpful. They had some great drink specials and an amazing three course meal special for $22. The seared rare yellow fin tuna nachos were amazing as were the seared sea scallops. Top this off with a... More

An excellent choice for dinner after the ballgame, theater etc. Good wine list andvery good food in pleasant setting -- not a sports bar!

Our favorite restaurant in Columbia period! Constantly changing menu, excellent wine list, and great staff. Three course option is great. Love it.

I like this spot! It's a great spot for a girls night out or a date. The wine is the real reason to come to Cellar on the Greene, and the food is an added bonus. I really love the small plates, and I haven't had a bad one yet!

Just enjoyed a lovely meal at this small restaurant next to our hotel (the Inn at Claussens, highly recommended). The $22 for a 3-course meal provided an abundant choice of 5-6 appetizers, 5-6 entrees and another half dozen desserts. I had a fresh salad, very good sea scallops (with scrumptious tapenade) and excellent lemon meringue tart. And service was friendly... More

I was in town for my son's college gradation with family, our group was 12 people. Saw other reviews online prior to dining and really wanted to check it out, even though it was a graduation weekend and they took no reservations. We were pleasantly surprised and were seated within 10 minutes of arriving (we dined on the later side... More

We had dinner with friends at Cellar again last night, for the first time in awhile. This is one of our favorite locations for a casual meal that we know will be excellent. The wine menu is fantastic and the beer menu is not bad (for a place that focuses on wine). The food is delicious and a good value... More

This is one of the best meals my wife and I have had! Cellar on the Greene features $10 bottles of wine on Mondays, three course meals for $22, a great selection of wines, drink specials, and a wine store. I had the Pan Seared Flat Iron Steak w/ green peppercorn bordelaise, blue cheese butter, creamed red potatoes, and lemon... More

Cellar on the Greene is a unique store/restaurant. When you enter the place you find it hard to believe that there could be a great meal awaiting you because of the decor and number of seats available. The wait staff was very friendly and helpful in making your decisions about what to drink and wine choices. My water glass never... More
