Decided to go here for lunch. Tried the HG burger with smoked Gouda with a side of hash browns. The burger was juicy and very tasty. Seasoned well. The hash browns were cooked just the way I like them. Will be making a trip back to try out their dinner menu.

We got there at 8 pm on a Saturday night and the place was packed. We only had to wait 10 minutes for a seat for 5 of us. I had the duck and it was cooked perfect. The mussels appetizer was the best dish on the whole menu cooked in a light sauce with chiriso, celery, and garlic. Beer... More

Only a few blocks off the USC campus. The goat cheese salad was excellent. Good size portion, great flavor combinations. Really good pale ale on tap. The service was quick and pleasant.

Our family stopped in for lunch at Hunter after a visit to USC. They had only one waitress that was covering most of the restaurant. She was doing the best she could, but did create some slow service. I got the BLT which was just okay. I wish I would have tried some of their beers, they looked like they... More

Did a mid-week dinner here with coworkers traveling to Columbia on business. We shared the ESB Pimento cheese to start. Really good stuff. I did the lamb gyro, which was good. My companions did a pizza and a smoked chicken ravioli. The pizza was not the greatest but the pasta was quite good. I also had an in-house Pale &... More

Initially, my wife and kids were a bit concerned when we pulled up, but the food was fantastic. Don't pass this one up!

Good value for the money. Outside dining area available. Service initially a little slow then OK. Reasonable menu choice. Attracts a college type crowd in keeping with its location.

The only thing we've had here we didn't care for was the very hard crust on the pizzas. The beer braised chicken with grits was amazing. The grits were done like polenta. We've had duck eggrolls, scallops, and desserts that were all really good. Much of the food is locally grown and the grits are milled down the street.

I went there for my Dad's birthday, he will only go to local places. This one was theone of the best I've been to. Just great! The service was very good, the food was amazing. I had the smoked chicken ravioli, highly recommend this dish. Everything is made from scratch, most of the food is from local sources. They also... More

The interior was very interesting> did not try the food this time, but the beer that we tried that they brew was very good.
