Always Great Wings

Our family went to this Carolina Ale House when visiting USC. We've been to several CAH in NC. This was equal in quality. The one thing I will say that is negative to the other CAH's, their number of beers on tap is not quite the same as the other-Not As Many. The do still have a good... read more

Best bar in the Vista. Thanks for actually having a beer menu, and showing the prices of your drinks so that people don't have to ask before ordering. I wish more bars would do that!

4 of us arrived right at opening time at 11:00 am on Saturday, was greeted by nice staff and picked where we wanted to sit (upstairs and almost outside). Great server and all had great sandwiches with perfect speed for ordering and receiving. Many Many beers on tap.

Traveled to Spring Valley High, SC to watch my son compete @TacoBell Track Classic & stayed at the Holiday Inn Express &Suites Harbison, Columbia, SC - The Carolina Ale House was located right up the street - great place to watch any sporting event on multiple large screen TV's. Excellent wait staff and good food selection

the ale houses in florida have great chicken wings. Came here after a round of golf for a cold beer and some wings. After waiting ten minutes for a server we had to flag down a bartender. Frustrating because we came at 2:30 and there were only five other people there. Long story short.... The wings were average at best.... More

Great access to a tv in every direction for march madness. Loved that. Put your earplugs in before heading to the restroom. Omg. The buzzer went off on the basket ball game and I thought I was getting subbed in, from the bathroom. Holy cow people turn the noise down. Food was ok seemed cold and had to ask for... More

This is absolutely the best place in Columbia to watch sports on tv and enjoy the patio when the weather is good, The food is definitely a cut or 5 above typical bar food. The grilled wings are the best I have ever had, and the salads are super. The staff is very accommodating. A "can't miss" place to be... More

Of all the places to dine in the Vista, I had to choose this place. This was my first time ever at the Carolina Ale House and most likely my last. I ordered the grilled teriyaki salmon and when it was finally delivered to the table (after about an hour), it was only lukewarm. Need I say more about the... More

Food was just ok but our server was excellent and had a personality. I had the pork tacos and one of them had a huge chunk of pork that I could not eat. The rest of group had burgers and said they were ok. If we return to Columbia we probably won't eat here again
