Mellow Mushroom has tremendous character and ambience. The day we were there we sat on the porch and it was wonderful. Our server was outstanding. The food was quick and fresh and hot. The menu is tremendously creative. You can do traditional pepperoni or go with a Mediterranean themed pizza or lots of varieties in between. I highly recommend this... More

For our first trip to Mellow Mushroom, we were pleased with ambiance and the food. Service was fast and the pizza was tasty! Interesting combos! Maui Wowie and the Thai Dye were delicious and something out of the ordinary. Good crust, tasty sauces and fresh toppings. Will definitely eat here again!

Ate here for the first time during parents weekend at Clemson. Despite a packed downtown, we were seated relatively quickly. The pretzel appetizers were the best I've ever had, and the Maui Wowie pizza with pesto crust was great. Will definitely come back when visiting Clemson in the future.

Service slow for lunch on Sunday. Place is not even half full. Food was ok. Had the holy shiitake pie. Oil pooled on top with mushroom bits. Did not find any portebella as the menu indicated. Too much packaged parmigiana cheese sprinkled in top. Did you ever hear of fresh ingredients? Put in the 'pizza is pizza' category. Nothing special... More

Crust like cardboard, bland sauce, skimpy toppings and funny tasting cheese. Put it on my been there, won't be back list.

Like how this company has taken an old house and turned into an interesting restaurant. I am from Amarillo TX where anything old is gone!!! This city sees no value to anything over 10 years old. Very sad to say- so really appreciated the use of space to make this a fun place to eat. The pizza was great and... More

Good food, great pizza and salads, very decent for chain food. Ingredients seem fresh and tasty. But you need patience, service will be slow and disjointed as any college kid run restaurant can be. Forgetful waiters with short attention spans, so if they miss something, and they will, walk up to counter and ask for it.

We were seated promptly bc we were a bit early for dinner and was not busy.. It took quite a bit of time to get our food. Salad was missing cherries bc they were out of them. Two of three sandwiches were on the wrong bread (switched). When asked how long it would take to correct we were told another... More

when the gentle breeze flows thru that lovely porch with 20 of us and lots of them , You can know that joy can be had by all!! Yes there were some slow times since the whole restaurant was crowded with happy diners!, but the wonderful evening made us not care that things had to be waited on. The pizzas... More
