This is supposed to be an Italian based restaurant for starters. When you walk in you have to pay for the food up front, before you even get seated. We had a party of 8 so we got nailed with 17-18% gratuity right off the bat! I mean really, why would you pay a tip to someone before they even... More

I don't know if I would classify this as great Italian food but it is very good and if you're in Clemson looking for a reasonably priced Italian place that's safe, clean, and you won't leave hungry, Brioso is a pretty good stop. Attire: pretty much anything since it's in a college town but Khaki shorts and polo for guys... More

This restaurant opened when our son was still in grad school at Clemson University (we are all Clemson alums) and he took us there from its start. It is right on College Avenue not three blocks from the University. The atmosphere is very open and casual yet still classy. You order at the front counter by selecting your type of... More

There is great variety at Brioso in terms of types I pasta, sauce, proteins and extras. Unfortunately, it doesn't taste as fresh as one would hope. The service is fine but nothing outstanding. The atmosphere is not conducive to conversation. The biggest drawback is that the way the counter is set up - and you order at the counter first... More

Quaint Italian bistro with sidewalk seating. Nice atmosphere & décor. Convenient location to Clemson U and sidewalk shopping (boutiques/stores). This restaurant has a potential to be one of the best restaurants in Clemson if managed correctly. First of all, I find it awkward paying upfront for a meal because I'd like to relax, sit-down and read the menu. It seriously... More

Their flat bread pizzas are very good. They have fresh pasta which is their produce. You can also have a glass of wine with your meal.

While there are few places in Clemson to have a nice meal without paying over $100 for it, this is one where good food and a glass of wine comes in a casual environment for a reasonable price. We eat here regularly and enjoy the variety of sauces to put on the pasta (Lobster sauce is yummy)

Good service and a cute spot but horrible food... Watered down soft pasta and chicken and sauce lousy. My eggplant was like it had just been defrosted!

We have eaten at Brioso in Clemson many times when we have a special occaision and plenty of people. The food is good and the choices are many. The kitchen even blends two of their sauces for my daughter each time. It is a little off-putting to order when you arrive and to pay before eating only because I never... More

The business model for the restaurant is perfect and affordable for the college town setting, but the style of pizza is so deliciously old school! I sampled some friends' dishes, they were all great, but the pizza...yowza! Wafer thin crust, well-blended flavors and textures with the toppings, I'm impressed.
