a bike taxi driver told us to try this place & we weren't disappointed. My husband loved the fresh oysters and mussels while I enjoyed a delicious fish meal. Very happening place!

great food - delicious food - friendly and fun service. These guys have got it right. We were struggling as vegetarians in Charleston and they were more than happy to make a few adjustments to their menu tiems to accommodate us. This is not something I often find!

Had some pretty decent meals in Charlston. Narrowly avoided some bad, by all accounts. Last night in town and we had blown lunch at Husk and there was no chance of getting in for dinner. Stumbling around Broad, this place looked buzzing and had a real mixed crowd. Tats and Tiara's. Menu looked as interesting as Husks to be honest.... More

This place has very limited seating space. We had to share a family style table. The raw oysters were good but they do not open the steamed oysters. Shrimp and grits were good, but the tacos were just okay. Nothing special about this place.

Go to Pearlz, don't hesitate. So, so good! Between us we had raw oysters, oysters Rockefeller (O.M.G!), the burger with blei cheese and caramelized onions, the seared ahi tuna sandwich, shrimp Caesar salad, and blackened salmon with Charleston red rice. For real, this place is just fantastic. Service was great, dishes, sides, drinks, and raw bar were all fantastic.

Went on a day trip to Charleston with a friend and found Pearlz. We enjoyed raw oysters, fried oysters, fish tacos and mussels. We got the crab dip, but weren't the biggest fans of it. I also got a margarita, but wasn't tol haply with it. Overall, our experience was great and our server Meaghan was definitely memorable!

During a day trip to Charleston, we decided on Pearlz because we wanted oysters. We happened to go during happy hour so the prices were quite reasonable. We got a dozen oysters, fried oysters, mussels, mahi tacos, and the crab dip. All were delicious but next time we'd skip the fried oysters and crab dip and try something else instead.... More

Family of four tourists, we stopped in here after an afternoon of walking around town (and an excellent lunch at Five Loaves Cafe). The place was crowded but it had a good pulse, even though the air conditioning had quit. Mixed crowd, some tourists, plenty of locals in there after work. More than half of clientele was female, at least... More

First time to Charleston and decided to give this a try as our dress attire was not quite what it needed to be in order to eat at a nicer restaurant (walking around touring) and decided we gave this a try after reading a few reviews. Took about 35mins to wait (no biggy). Anyway, once we were called (sat at... More

The service was excellent! I really enjoyed my visit there. I was there during 'happy hour' and had a delicious fried oyster appetizer, 2 oyster shooters (pepper vodka, raw oyster, hot sauce) and they were terrific. Then 1 shrimp taco. Delicious! Easy parking!
