Sea food mixed grill was good and my wife liked the baked oyster Rockefeller. This is a very high noise, fast paced place with a communal table at the center, a long bar and booths on the side. Mixed drinks tend to be light on alcohol and heavy on mixers. Service at the booths was fast paced to move as... More

Unbelievable happy hour apps. Can fill up on those alone. But don't, the menu is fantastic also. We make sure to stop here whenever we are in Charleston.

I have eaten at Pearlz on a number of occasions and have always had an excellent culinary experience. I have been converted to eating fish by Chef Victoria. I have never liked fish until I tried hers. My taste buds were dancing in my mouth and I find myself craving her food at least once a month. The service and... More

It really has a cosy interior, I bet a quicker service too. We had a nice dinner as a family and enjoyed the food thoroughly. Charm of Charleston, eating on the pavement is a must if you are around, worth the try...

I was wondering around the city and hadn't done my trip advisor research when I noticed Pearlz. As I strolled by, I noticed it was a lively crowd and the place had an overall good vibe. Everything I had was awesome, from the bisque to the mixed grill special. Service was also great. A good place to people watch to... More

Funky oyster with shell peices mixed in. Male Mgr was unattentive and not welcoming. Food was below par. Didnt eat my crabcake it was terrible it tasted like an old refirigerator smell. nobody asked if food was good. service was slow. Mgr bussing tables and running food? they are your front line for customer service... I Will Not Return..

This was one of our best dinners in Charleston. The place was mobbed and noisy with modern decor and a genuinely fun atmosphere. The staff is friendly and the service was very good. My wife started with peel-and-eat shrimp; a generous portion that was perfectly cooked. She followed this with excellent sautéed scallops served with fresh asparagus and red rice.... More

I have been here twice in the last two months; once on a family trip and recently on a business trip. The mixed seafood grill was incredibly good, and the oyster sample plate was top notch. The branzino is fantastic. The only detractions were that the restaurant and attached bar can be very loud at times and they seem to... More

This place has the best happy hour! I would defiantly recommend getting your set early because it fills up by 5pm. Wonderful oysters, fresh fish/seafood, and great staff. The drink specials are amazing. Wish I would have found this place sooner. The dinner specials were also excellent.

While visiting the area, we went to Pearlz on the recommendation of a friend who lives in Charleston. It exceeded even her glowing opinion. It is attractively decorated and the lighting is well-balanced. Acoustics are a bit lively as is the crowd, but not unpleasantly so. There are three distinct seating areas: bar, dining and "communal." It was very busy... More
