Small and casual but great seafood restaurant. Great drink list. Lots of fresh seafood with a huge oyster bar. We got a great spot at the bar along the front window. Cool for people watching both inside and outside actually. We had a dozen raw oyster, peel n eat shrimp, and 4 glasses of champagne for $40 during happy hour.... More

Food was wonderful. My wife found the Fried shrimp to be large and Tasty and I thouroughly enjoyed my Crab soup. The fish taco's were ok. But even better than the food was dining on the sidewalk on a beautiful July evening enjoying watching the crowds.

Enjoyed great seafood at reasonable prices. Sat at the bar because it was a 45 minute wait but that was fine for us as it was just the two of us. The swordfish I had was excellent and my wife had a great piece of salmon. I did not have the raw oysters but they looked wonderful and will have... More

Went there during happy hour ,there was 45 minute wait time, it was well worth the wait after we enjoyed cheaper prices and great food. Oysters definitely a star at that place! Everybody should try fried oysters ! We had to order more because my kids were fighting over them. Eat-n- peal shrimp was great too. My wife tried grilled... More

My husband and I are from out of town and decided to look up some local seafood favorite spots in Charleston. Pearlz already got raving reviews so we decided to check it out for ourselves. We ordered the crab cakes to start off with- so delicious they were gone in 2 minutes! He had the crab cake sandwich and I... More

Nothing but great things to say. It's worth the wait. Check it out for sure. The food is cheap, but incredibly tasty. Wait staff is very attentive and super friendly.

We were excited to try this bustling place and after 30 minutes of waiting with kids we graciously accepted a spot at the communal table at 7pm on a Thursday night. Our waitress had a terrible attitude (are out 3 meals a day for 7 days and this is the only rude service we encountered in charleston). She was as... More

My wife and I dined at the Pearlz Oyster Bar outside the city of Charleston. Great service; lively and local patronage. Fried fish was just right.

After a long, hot afternoon of exploring Charleston we stopped in at Pearlz for a cold drink and to experience oysters. Being oyster rookies, we wanted to sample them in a number of ways and Pearly happy hour allowed us to do just that. Tried them raw, steamed, shooters, and fried. I have to admit that I probably will not... More
