The Hungry Detective and wife booked the New Years Eve dinner cruise and were disappointed with the food!!! It was a small limited menu and they still could not get right!!! The shrimp bisque soup had one piece of shrimp and was cold. It's just too tough if a setting for the food to be served hot. VERDICT: Guilty of... More

My fiance and I took the Dinner Cruise in late September as a birthday celebration The captain met us on the gangplank and directed us to our port window. The dining was near full but the space was generous. The first thing I appreciated was the timing -we were not rushed. First drinks and a leisurely perusal of the menu... More

Recently took the cruise with my husband for our anniversary. Pros: Entertainment was nice- guitarist who was just the right volume The scenery was nice. You could go to the observation deck and look around. Wait staff were very friendly. Cons: The food. This is a big one as for the meal price, I expected much better. The food arrived... More

Cons: - Tables so close together we could not get up without having everyone else in our row get up. It was too crowded. - Food was o-k, I personally didn't care for the she crab soup (too spicy and it had a thick layer on top from sitting) or the shrimp and grits. Many of us who had the... More

This was my first dinner cruise. It was not all that exciting, but nice overall. The staff was very friendly and the food was adequate. I would probably come back again.

We went to celebrate our 25th wedding anniversary and it was a great choice. The weather was beautiful, we went up on the deck to take in the views which were fantastic. The food was really good, it was the first time I had She-crab soup and shrimp and grits, it was yummy! They announced that it was our anniversary... More

Our cruise started out fine. Then about an hour into it a lightning storm developed. This was actually the highlight of the dinner. The lightning kept backlighting the city skyline, Fort Sumter and the Ravenel Bridge. The food was pretty good. The service was very good. The ship is a little run down. Seating on the lower deck is for... More

We went on a dinner cruise for my husband's birthday and it happened to fall during restaurant week. It was an amazing deal! We each got 4 courses which included: she crab soup, watermelon salad, an entree and a dessert. My husband went with the sirloin and it was delicious! It was cooked perfectly! I went with the shrimp stuffed... More

We went on the jazz dinner cruise. The food was buffet style and very good. It was catered barbecue and was some of the best I've tasted. The staff was friendly. The night tour was very relaxing. Definitely recommend for couples as a romantic getaway.
