My husband and I went to Santi's and took his mother. We had raved about it in the past, so wanted to take her for a fun night out. We got there and were rushed from the time we sat down. Our waiter was terrible! He didn't crack a smile, rushed us to order, and was obviously trying to get... More

Friends who live in Charleston took me to Santi's since its their favorite Mexican restaurant in the city. It was very authentic, with excellent guacamole, salsa and chips. I had mama's soup which was very good. My friends enjoyed the tacos and burritos. If you want a break from Southern food in Charleston, this is the place to go.

Still one of the best for Mexican in Charleston. Very fresh and authentic cuisine. Everything is good, fresh chips and guacamole.

Want to hang with the locals in Mt Pleasant?? Come for the excellent chips and guacamole, and the even more excellent margaritas. Beware-- they are made strong, and drinking more than one on a hot day will definitely make you woozy. The Fro Burriti and Wet Burrito are both very well done. Skip the soups--they aren't as good as the... More

just had lunch or at least tried to. Ordered one of my favorites, Menudo, boy was it horrible, had to send it back, got two tacos instead, seriously, the steak taco was not hot and so, so salty, the pork taco was served with a huge clump of pork on the tortilla, the beans tasted burnt. I spoke to the... More

A friend and I asked son to go to lunch with us and he recommended something Mexican close to his apartment. Fine. Most Mexican food I've sampled looked like food but had the flavor of cardboard and potato chips. Forget all that when you head for Santi's Restaurante Mexicano. The all male staff made me think I might be south... More

We've been told that Santi's has the best Mexican food in Charleston, and my wife and I planned to eat here for several months and finally had the opportunity to eat dinner at the Meeting St. location last weekend. When we arrived around 5:30pm the restaurant was relatively empty and we were promptly greeted and welcomed to sit anywhere we... More

I love this casual Mexican restaurant. I especially like the Fro Burrito. It is huge and delicious. The service is fast, and the prices are cheap. The location is out of the way, so you have to seek it out. If you want a quick and easy lunch spot, this is it.

Food served very quickly, which is good if you are in a rush, they offered a large variety of cocktails too, it was very bush which is always a great sign.
