I love good BBQ!

Bartender was attentive. Food was delicious. I had pulled pork and slaw. The 'Alabama White' sauce was made just right, with the perfect amount of vinegar. Since I own a BBQ sauce company, I take my sauces seriously. The habanero BBQ was very flavorful- not just hot. I would highly recommend... read more

Ate there twice during our 4-day stay in Charleston. Each time the food and service was excellent! Great flavor and really nice atmosphere.

After checking in at the Francis Merion, we asked Rachel at the front desk where we could get some great BBQ. She suggested Jim n Nicks. We sure we're glad she did. I ordered the the 1lb platter. Really great portions and the ribs were fantastic. The best part though were the muffins that are served with meal. You'll want... More

My husband and I stopped at Jim N' Nicks right after a 3 hour walking tour of Charleston and felt very comfortable in our casual attire. The food came out quickly and it was very good! As Texans we have a high standard for BBQ but Jim N' Nicks delivered. The cheese rolls were also really yummy!

This is one of my favorite spots to grab some BBQ. The food is excellent, the service is great and the view is fun. I really enjoy watching all of the people walking around downtown Charleston while they shop till they drop on King Street. I usually get the BBQ sandwich without the bun, mac 'n' cheese and a cheese... More

My wife and I went went to dinner there after visiting a little bit of Charleston. Our waitress was very nice and we were seated and served promptly. We both ordered the BBQ Brisket and we were amazed how well it was seasoned and cooked, so much so that it melted in your mouth. I would definitely go back again... More

This restaurant was the first that we ate at upon our arrival in Charleston. The food was delicious. I had the chicken club sandwich. It was on some type of toasted garlic bread. It melted in my mouth. I've never had such a good chicken sandwich. My sister in law had the Peachy Keen drink and I had the Ray... More

My husband and I stopped for lunch after a long, hard morning of shopping on King Street! The BBQ was sweet and smokey, the sauce choices varied and the craft beers ice cold! We'll be back!

After several days of eating local seafood, we decided to try southern BBQ! Jim 'n Nick's was finger-lickin' good! The Cheddar Muffins were awesome (we even bought the mix so we can make them at home!), and the ribs were tender and delicious. Would definitely go back again!

While you are meandering around Charleston and strolling down King St., stop in this place for some good BBQ. It has a long bar with TV, very good BBQ (and they do cater), a nice assortment of ice cold beer and is generally very popular on the weekends. I liked it! There is also another near Tanger Outlet.
