Good salads!

I kept seeing people walk past me on King Street with these delicious looking salads. I found them at NIck's! Delicious and fresh salads with pecans, fried green tomatoes, Roma tomatoes, and a variety of other chopped vegetables. Very tasty vinaigrette dressing ( had it on the side...the salad... read more

I won't go into a diatribe about who the heck Jim is. OK, so there is some identity issue. The point is, this place has the feeling of a chain, but in a good way. Meaning, reliable middle-of-the-road quality. And of course the kind of temple to all things pig you expect a bbq joint to be, while also offering... More

The double decker BBQ sandwich was very tasty. Combining pulled pork and brisket on two separate layers within the sandwich, plus unseasoned fries. Enjoyable meal with good attentive service.

Stopped here as it is supposed to be popular. Was not very good. Maybe I am spoiled by all the great eateries in Charleston, and I rarely give a bad review, but this place underwhelmed. I got the ribs and they were too salty, and not very tasty. Later in the evening, I was not feeling well, but felt better... More

Great Barbecue served in an easy setting. We had the pork and brisket and it melted in your mouth. We also had the garden salad which was surprisingly good! Loved the atmosphere until the college crowd moved in drunk and loud. Then we were ready to go but do big deal!

We found this gem of a place while walking down King Street. The combo platter with 4 different meats and a side of mac and cheese is a must. Good service and beers too.

Liked the concept. You order food at the counter, find a table and then are served your food. I had a chicken salad sandwich and fried green tomatoes - both delicious. Good place for a quick bite!

My family is from the bbq capital of the world, so we know BBQ! But this was DELICIOUS!!! The brisket was my favorite. My son said "this was the best BBQ of his life" :-)

We went for dinner and were delighted by the bbq, but were really impressed by the sides. Mac n Cheese is a must - so are the cheese biscuits! The sweet potato casserole was to die for as well. Highly recommend!

This was a great lunch stop in Charleston after walking quite a bit in downtown. We were hungry and there waa plenty of food for the price. We would eat there again.
