Nice view and great appetizers!

Ate lunch here at the suggestion of our walking tour guide. It was very good! I had the crab cake sandwich and my other half had the triggerfish blackened sandwich. We both really liked our choices. The highlight was the cucumber and tomato salad. It was out of this world! The waitress was very helpful and friendly. This was a... More

We have dined there each of the last 3 times we have been in Charleston. Really good lunch menu. The crab stuffed hushpuppies are a must! Have tried several of the po-boys and other sandwiches. Never had anything we did not like. Though they take reservations, we have always walked in and never waited too long.

By daughter lives in Charleston and wanted to go here for dinner so we headed down around 7PM on a Friday - mistake #1. Like most locations downtown, parking is a headache and this was no exception. After dropping my wife and daughter off, I spent 20 minutes looking for a parking place that would not get me a ticket... More

I came here with two of my work colleagues for dinner based on a recommendation from a local resident. Here are the pros: 1) Great tasting seafood. I ordered fresh oysters and crab cakes. One of my co-workers ordered the crispy whole fried southern flounder with apricot glaze. 2) Unique location on the water with an interesting history. 3) I... More

After having some drinks at a local rooftop bar we stopped here to see what it looked like. We didn't have a reservation but our wait was only about 15 minutes or so. I can't speak about the view because it was an overcast, cloudy day turning to night when we arrived there. I know that they have an excellent... More

Strolling around Charleston on a beautiful day. Did a little shopping and decided to find somewhere to eat where I could see the water. You can't get any closer than this. Its in the old Navy Fleet Landing wharf and although renovated well you still get the feeling you're in a dock. I had fried oysters with their cucumber, tomato... More

We went out with friends and they chose the Fleet Restaurant. We had a very enjoyable dinner on their heated, enclosed side porch. I had local swordfish which was excellent, my wife had a shrimp dish which she enjoyed. Nice wine selection from the server, a sauvignon blanc, and a shared desert and we were happy campers. Pete

I am told this is the only restaurant on the water in Charleston. An old US NAVY building now a great restaurant. Had the Shrimp and Grits, Gumbo soup and Oyster platter. All were very good. Be sure to request "outside" seating for the best view.
