My husband and I were killing time around the market area while waiting for our tour to start. I had to eat lunch, I was starving. We popped into the Noisy Oyster and were quickly seated by the window. It was fun to people watch. I ordered the chicken strip platter and husband just went with the calamari for his... More

We love this place! The shrimp & grits is the best we have found & we also like the hot Crab & Shrimp dip appetizer. Can't wait to go back!

This place is located right in the main tourist area of Charleston. We usually avoid such places, but we were in a hurry, we had just about over an hour to eat since we were going to Ft Sumtar. The place was about 1/4 full, so we figured it would work for a quick lunch. We ordered as soon as... More

I ordered a broiled seafood platter. The flounder was mush! It was not cooked properly. I did not feel well a couple of hours later. The restroom was nasty.

Food was great. Gumbo and crab cakes. The service, Tara, was prompt and friendly. Reasonably priced. Great atmosphere.

I've been to the Noisy Oyster a couple of times on trips through Charleston and enjoyed it every time. It's a bar/restaurant, very informal and just across the street from The Market in the historic district. I cannot say much about their dinners insofar as I've only eaten lunch there; but, they appear substantial and the prices, whether for lunch... More

I have been to the Noisy Oyster many times before, however, this time was different because of oue amazing waitress. It was my best friends 18th birthday and this was the best place to spend it. She was very knowledgable about the menu and what was good and what not to even bother eating. Definitely request her if you go!

Second visit not as good as first- restaurant wasn't very clean...the food was mediocre and the service was bad...difficult to get a refill.. Food took forever to get to us and the food was mediocre at best... The tip was automatically built in- I would have left a $5 tip- ended up having to give a $23 tip! Won't be... More
