Fun times and fabulous food, Say yes to The Noisy Oyster!

WOW! This is such a fun and fabulous restaurant! Music and laughter fill the air, along with sweet aromas. Jill was just a sweetheart. She went way out of her way to please us. I started with a Bloody Mary which was more like a salad, nice snap and delicious! My husband enjoyed local beer and... read more

My first time ever in Charleston, my last time at the noisy oyster. The location was dirty, Josh our waiter hates life (could be the atmosphere seeping into his brain since he moved and spoke with ZERO emotion), the music was too loud, as if it could masque Josh's disdain for his job), and the meal,? Well it was hit... More

We were in Charleston for a short weekend visit with family who recently moved there. We spent Saturday downtown and at the market and wandered into Noisy Oyster to have a drink at the bar. Laura was quick and even helped us figure out our drinks. We left and wandered some more downtown until evening, then went back and had... More

We had drinks at the bar with Laura who was quick and offered drink suggestions. We left to do some market shopping and returned for dinner. Our evening waitress was Brandi who's service was spectacular. She was attentive and suggested the best appetizers and entrees. We will return.

Great after dinner activity. Ordered the bucket of local oysters and a few drinks. Our server Laura spread paper in front of us and delivered the bucket. Next we asked for a demo because we were not sure what to do. Laura expertly showed us how to pry the oysters open. I think there were over 70 oysters in the... More

my husband and I had our nephew for the weekend and took him sightseeing and shopping in downtown Charleston. He wanted to eat downtown, but we were having trouble finding somewhere with food he liked (he's a little picky). When we inquired about the kids menu the manager happily told him what was on it and even offered to change... More

5 of us took a Client to dinner. 20 degree day..NO heat. Burned tasteless appetizer, sent stale beer back, cold entrees and sides. Server (name ?) #1075 tried her best. Awful experience...Disgustingly nasty place

You have to have some great sea food when visiting Charleston & this place has it! Just finished shopping at the Market & ended up here. So happy we did! Everything we tried was delicious. From our fried green tomatoes with grits appetizer, to the lobster & shrimp quesadillas entrée. We will be back for sure!

This is located just at the end of the Market and is a great spot for lunch. We visited about 3pm, for a late lunch, and found them to be quite busy, which is a good sign. They had enough beer options to find something you like, the service was pretty good and the food was excellent. We had the... More

We were "food hopping" on the first night of our trip. Remembering this place from a previous visit, we hopped on in for oysters. We got the Rockefeller and Buffalo oysters. Both were super, but the Rockefeller oysters were so incredibly cheesy and creamy without loosing the oyster flavor that they were our favorite. Also, when you go, ask for... More
