Our mid-September weeknight visit to Noisy Oyster in the rain was a real treat for us! We read reviews beforehand, and knew not to expect air conditioning - not a deal breaker. Taylor was our server and performed her job quite well. When speaking with her, she advised us of her impending trip to South Africa to swim with the... More

A trip to historic downtown Charleston would not be complete for us without a trip to the Noisy Oyster. Located on East Bay, right beside the Market, it is a great location. The thing I like most about this place is that it feels like you are eating outside with all the open windows. Sunday evening it was in the... More

I'm a frequent business traveler. Eating on my own is a common thing so usually I like to sit by the bar. I love seafood and beer. On a nice breezy Saturday night in September, I had a great (and messy) meal (just the way I like it). Started my dinner with a HolyCiti beer, at 6% alcohol, it totally... More

We sat for a while before we the waiter finally asked for our order. The place is open air on two sides so when the temperature is 90 degrees and the humidity is 95% it is not very comfortable. My wife ordered steamed clams and I ordered a medium rare burger. I also ordered oysters Rockefeller to share with her.... More

This was a great location on the corner of E. Bay St. and N. Market St. Our server was friendly, the food arrived fairly quickly and was wonderful. Between the four of us in our group we had the seafood gratin, 2 seafood combos (flounder & shrimp) and crab topped grouper. Prices were not out of line either. Definitely a... More

I loved the oyster sampler a bit small (6) if you plan to only have it as an entree. My mixed salad was good and fresh. My husband had the seafood platter he loved it. Overall the service was great very pleasant

Service was good. Location is great at the end of Market Street. We had the crab cakes on English muffins, shrimp quesadillas and fried green tomatoes. Food was amazing. The proportions were perfect for three friends to share. I suggest a table near a fan as the seating area has large open windows with no major air conditioning to cool... More

Great choice for a family. Basic seafood - low country broil, fried seafood, and basic cocktails/drinks. Food is moderately priced, and service is good. Great location for people watching near the market, and open air makes it a great choice for a summer/fall day. Food is basic low country, but good for families. Service is good - we asked for... Location: Right next to the outdoor market which is where you might need to dash to in order to find some food right before or after a carraige ride. Decor: It has an island 'tiki' feel with palm leaves and sky blue paint. It has a bank of windows along two sides of the restaurant that open to the outside.... More
