Our hotel shuttle let us off right at Church and Market and we randomly just wandered in to this lively restaurant and bar. The decor is beach funky and the restaurant is family oriented by day, and probably quite a lively bar in the evening. The food was amazing. My husband ordered a mahi-mahi wrap that was wonderful; I had... More

Great food and outstanding service at a great price. Our waitress, Tara, was wonderful. She provided us with a lot of useful information about Charleston.

We were recently in Charleston, Sc for the Cooper River Bridge Run. It was the night before and we had a taste for seafood. While walking through the market we noticed the Noisy Oyster. They were able to seat us quickly. Our waitress was Chelsey. She was very friendly and was very honest when we asked her about certain items... More

We stopped for lunch here and were seated promptly at a booth by the windows- best seat in the house! We ordered cocktails, beers, and appetizers. Try the appetizer that is a stack of crab cakes and fried green tomatoes! We were very pleased with our drinks (they were strong pours, thank god) and everyone liked their lunch. The mahi-mahi... On a business trip and was recommended this restaurant by a friend. It was definitely worth it. Chelsey did a great job making me feel welcome and made sure I had everything I needed when I needed it. Had the new Greek Seafood pasta and lemon-Chambord cheesecake. Excellent!

We enjoyed a mid-day meal at the Noisy Oyster. Rather pricey but the menu offered many choices and our 10 year-old and 12 year-old found a lot of options too. The descriptions were very helpful in making decisions. Loved the open air and right on the street, made it feel friendly and summery. Tara was very friendly and offered suggestions.

First - Props to Josh - our waiter supreme! He did a great job of telling us about the Market Street hidden treasures - Thanks Josh. On to the food - we did a selection of appetizers for dinner - the Oysters Rockefeller were great - should have ordered more - and the boiled shrimp just a fresh as can... More

Waitress Tara was friendly and efficient. Fun to get a seat by the open windows. Right near the market and other stores. She-crab soup was great and fried green tomatoes very good. Funky smell when we walked in made me not want to eat there.

We liked the convenience downtown and the open window dining, however food was not anything great. My lettuce was wilted and the lobster mac and cheese was bland.

Situated just near the Old Market, and near tons of shopping and restaurants, the Noisy Oyster is in a wonderful area. They have a solid menu, friendly staff overall, and the seafood choices primarily were very tasty. I would add that for what we got, which were some basic seafood sandwiches, a couple drinks, we found the prices to be... More
