We are glad we visited this restaurant before we read the negative reviews as we had an enjoyable evening overall. We get the impression that the owner takes any negative feedback he reads on Tripadvisor to heart and is striving to improve the food served. My husband and I had the much maligned bruschetta appetizer and found it really delicious.... More

I just gave him the number of guests and he even allowed me to pre order for the time of our dinner and when we got there everything was ready!! he went above and... More

Their food isnt always the best but it is a really fun place right in the heart of downtown Charleston. We had a part of 6, some visitors and some residents. Our waiter and the manager on duty were great and made our trip fun!

Stopped in for a quick lunch. Staff very friendly and food was great. Can't beat the stuffed mushroom and the Bloody Mary from Dale was outstanding. Nice comfortable atmosphere.

Nice location on a street corner on King St. - its 2 floors and upstairs is pretty spacious probably ideal for private parties. The smells coming out of the kitchen are unbelievable. What sold me is the "Build-your-own-pasta" section on the menu and you can order exactly what you want. I had some friends visiting from out of town and... More

Despite the cutesy name, this restaurant serves excellent food and wine. Our server was excellent and even remembered me when I returned for a carry-out the next day (yes, we enjoyed the food that much). Since we love ravioli, we decided to each order a different type and then share--what a perfect solution. The lobster ravioli was a good as... More

My wife and I were in Charleston, SC today and stopped for a bite at Joe Pasta. They had an appetizer called Italian Nacos. Tried it just because the name perplexed me. It was fantastic. Cheesy, crunchy and very good. Enough for a meal and enjoyed it greatly. Try it.

No Bolognese sauce...really? There was no meat sauce on the menu. They jack up prices but the a la carte pricing...pasta, plain sauce, meat, vegetables (even mushrooms)...all separate. We had a bruschetta that was just gosh awful. They clearly had stale French rolls they soaked in basalmic vinegar, yuk. Portions were large but who wants to eat a large quantity... More

Went there during our trip to Charleston with another couple. We both ordered pizza. It tasted like canned pizza sauce on frozen crust. Not impressed!
