Just ok!

I'd like to say this place was great but, if I had my choice I would've gone somewhere else for an Italian dinner. Food is pretty average Italian fare, but staff is really attentive. Visited Joe Pasta with my wife and 14 month old son. The initial wait was about 20-25 minutes but I figured that was normal considering it was about 130. We get seated and ask for a high chair and told we couldn't get because they only had 2 available and both were in use. Of course it's doable but very... More

Way over priced food night club up stairs. If you are looking for a dinner and conversion go somewhere else. If you are looking for dinner and have whoreish dressed girls walk by staring at you a nd tripping on their heels yelling f bombs using your table to catch yourself, this is the place... the food was really good... This restaurant was a disappointment and was a poor choice in a neighborhood of great restaurants. The food was average and the service was poor.

I come to Joe Pasta to drink at the bar more than I do to eat. I have had great experiences with all bartenders but one. Her name was Martina and she was so incredibly rude. My friends and I come in almost every weekend and give a lot of our money to Joe Pasta and I'm appalled at the... More

So we ate at Joe Pasta based on several reviews and the whole family felt the food was good but average. The pizza crust was very burnt around the edges and really couldn't be eaten. My linguini with clams was good and the kids had fettucini alfredo that they said they liked. Overall nothing great and not bad either; just... More

We stayed at the Hampton Inn on John Street. Their in-room guide suggested Joe Pasta across the street. Charleston was packed, and a couple of restaurants we tried were full, so we tried Joe Pasta. Got right in, server was very gracious, service prompt and the food good. We received a free appetizer for showing our room key. The sausage... More

Very good for date nights. Cheese ravioli is wonderful. I get it every time we visit. My fiance loves the personal pizza

We came upon this restaurant after checking into our hotel and wanting something close by. It was just around the corner from our hotel so the location was perfect. Nice atmosphere, outdoor seating and upstairs. We had Fettuccine Alfredo and lasagna, both fresh and delicious. Large portions and reasonable prices. Nice little find .
