Nice meal but a high price tag.

Had a wonderful at High Cotton on 20th Feb2015. From the minute the hostess greeted us to the last second we walked out the door it was a memorable meal and experience. Our server was excellent and helped us work through the menu. All the food our party of four had was superb. We enjoyed the smoked salmon deviled eggs, the... More

Whenever we come to Charleston, we try to have a dinner at High Cotton. Their Charcuterie platter, which I believe they are now calling their picnic plate, is drop dead amazing. This year was no different. We inhaled the wonderful selection of pates and tasty bites. I could make a full meal of this platter alone. The rest of the... More

It was a mother daughter getaway that left us in high spirits after high cotton. I will go back next chance I get. Everything was elegant and extraordinary. Bloody Marys were great. We went back to sit by the musicians and loved their music in tge bar. Sitting at the bar was comfy too. Didn't know if would but I... More

One of the best pre fixed meals we have ever had. Went with another couple to an early dinner(6 pm) on Valentine's. Did not hear a single complaint from anyone. Our apps included buttermilk fried oysters, shrimp/lobster cocktail and she crab soup. Entrees were sea scallops, elk osso bucco and prime rib.. Desserts of grand marnier soufflé, blood orange crème... More

We have eaten here in the past, but decided to give it a go during restaurant week , although we did not choose from the special menu, we were delighted with the entrees we chose. Portions were plentiful (leftovers for lunch)a and very tasty. The appetizers seemed perfect for sharing between guests.

This is my go to restaurant in Charleston. We have had our anniversary supper here for the past 10 years. Anytime friends come to visit we take them here. Have never had a bad meal or mediocre glass of wine. The shrimp and grits are, by far, the best in Charleston. The food, service and atmosphere make for an unforgettable... More

We dropped in for a quick bite on Sunday evening and were pleasantly surprised by the excellent care by all the staff that we were given ... most notably, Cody, our impressive server. We enjoyed lighter fare, soup, salad, and a very tasty souffle dessert. The atmosphere was filled with southern hospitality which included a three piece band that well... More

My husband and i decided to stop in for a drink after dining at the Charleston Grill . Dinner was wonderful and we were looking for a place to have a night cap and listen to some music. Had it not been for the live music, this place would be below average. Caught the bartender behind the bar (young girl,... More
