This is a winner! Nice ambiance and the food and service are both great. We want to go back on our next visit to Charleston.

Our family visited to celebrate a birthday. The eggs were awful. One person ordered the crab cakes benedict, and the eggs were just plain raw. I don't mean that the yellow was runny like it is supposed to be; I mean that the white was not even remotely cooked. Another person had the breakfast, and his scrambled eggs were overcooked... The wait staff seated us quickly. The server was very attentive to our requests. Our food choices were excellent. The grilled halibut was tasty and juicy. The crab cakes were outstanding. The atmosphere was great for our wedding anniversary. We will return!

The food was excellent and the service was really friendly and efficient. We sat in the bar area to listen to a jazz trio; the overall experience was really enjoyable!

Everything about this place is excellent!! The food, drink, waitstaff, front of house, everything!! We went here for Sunday brunch and were greeted with smiles and a very informative waitstaff. We ordered coffee, bloody marys (so good), smoked salmon appetizer, french toast and 3 eggs with filet for breakfast. The whole experience is superb and we look forward to High... More

Our children all came to town for our anniversary and our daughter made reservations here for our dinner we totaled 7 people . We walked in and were seated right off wait staff was very nice but we did have a little difficulty getting our waitress attention at time's. Drinks were nice the rest of the family shared the high... More

We made reservations for our anniversary, when we were in town for the week. The atmosphere, food and service were all great. My only problem with the entire meal was some of the other patrons were dressed really casual, shorts and t-shirts and I felt this distracted from our nice meal as it was Saturday evening dinner and quite expensive.... This restaurant came as part of our hotel package and we're so glad it did or we may have missed it altogether. High Cotton is open for dinner only and quite upscale in decor, although comfortable in casual attire. We were seated in the main dining room in a nice spot away from the traffic flow. Our server, Michelle, was... More

Went for dinner this week with my extended family and parents. My cousin highly recommended we eat here as did many other locals we met during our stay. We arrived less than five minutes early and were directed to the bar until our reservation time which was fine, but our reservation was at 5:30 and there was no one seated... More

Wanted to stop and eat something light and quick. Walked in to High Cotton and the hostess was the rudest I've encountered in awhile. She acted as if we were inconveniencing her. No smile no personality threw our menus down on the table and walked away. I probably should've just walked out after the hostess incident but we decided to... More
