EXCELLENT SERVICE!!

Loved the food and the atmosphere. The chef always gives out samples, which always impresses me. I always had something in front of me to eat and the service was excellent.

This highly rated restaurant rating is well deserved. We sat next to the glassed in outdoor space and thoroughly enjoyed or dinner. Yes it is pricey but well deserved. "Mickey" the general manager made us fell at home and our waiter "Shaun" was attentive.

I made a reservation at this restaurant based on its fabulous reviews, and made the reservation about a month in advance on a weeknight. There were four of us. Two of us are from Southern California and two are from Seattle: both areas have great restaurants. The four of us have travelled extensively and have eaten at many fine restaurants.... More

We were able to have a look at the neat menu online with names like Pure, Lush, Cosmopolitan, and Southern and thus didn’t have to decide as much at the beginning of our dinner and could admire the elegant surroundings, the beautiful tableware, the view of the lush gardens through huge windows. We enjoyed the superbly prepared octopus and quail... More

The concept of different menus and being able to select what you want is incredible. The key to this location is more than the amazing chef, the excellent wine list, the great music, etc. The key to this restaurant is the incredible maitre d, Mickey Bakst. He an amazing professional to can guarantee that your evening here will be one... More

We went to a number of well recommended restaurants during our recent stay in Charleston. This was definitely the highlight of the week. Wonderful service and exceptional food. The only drawback was the restaurant was very busy and the noise level a slight distraction. They had a great quartet playing, but we weren't able to really enjoy it because of... More

There's nothing on this menu not to like and the service is just as excellent as the offerings. Micky takes care of his clientele whether they're locals or visitors, equally as well. This is perfect because it's located in Charleston's premier hotel. They pour beer as proudly as they do their fine wines and the live music makes it a... More

From the moment I entered this cathedral to fine dining, I was made to feel welcomed and comfortable--which doesn't always happen as a solo diner. The hostess offered me a selection of magazines to read and showed me to a two-top seated in the corner of the main dining room--but which offered an unobstructed view of the entire scene, including...
