One of the best in Charleston

We enjoyed our first meal here last night, and all four of us were 100% delighted. Service was attentive, staff was responsive and flexible about accommodating special requests. The person in our party who ordered the ribeye shared a bite with each of us . . . it was perfect! He enjoys a lot of red meat, and he thought... More

We had an excellent experience with a waiter and attendant who were very attentive. This experience was everything we had been told. We were seated in the "wall booth" nearest the band but found that the noise level was very manageable. The meal was very quick (once we had deciphered the menu) and the food outstanding - I had lamb... More

Food was excellent, although one of four entrees was 20 minutes later than others. Manager sort of apologized but was busy chatting with "regulars." Completely indifferent service and manager should be fired. Plenty of great places to eat in Charleston. I recommend skipping this restaurant until service improves, reluctantly. For the price of entrees, service should be close to flawless.

Have you ever had an experience at a restaurant you just can't stop thinking about? The Charleston Grill is that for me, the food was fantastic. The wine choices and desserts were also amazing. The thing that stays in my head though was the top notch service, our wait staff went above and beyond to make this the most special... More

We had heard great things about this restaurant and were very excited to have this experience. We called priorto our evening to make sure it would be proper to bring our own wine for a corkage fee, we were told yes for a 25.00 fee. No problems. When we walked in the door with our bottles of wine Mickie abruptly... More

Went there with my fiancee and it was the best meal i had in a long time. The service was spot on and the meal which we tried the branzino was out of this world. The octopus was fine, not my favorite due to being very acid, however , the rest was 5 stars. well recommended and like is said... More

Dinner for four went well and the staff did an excellent job assuring one of our party who has a unique food allergy was taken care of all evening. A smooth sounding trio played in the background and did not overpower our conversation. Service was good and done professionally without having to learn each person's name like so many places... From start to finish...excellent to the last bite! Greeted warmly, led right to our table. Promptly approached by our waiter, Chip, who immediately made us feel welcome and relaxed while sharing his recommendations about the menu. Great flavor combinations and precise cooking made the dinner shine! Striped bass with morel mushrooms over Israelie cous cous was perfect... The crisp skin... More

I had the opportunity to attend a 9 course dinner with wines as part of a group of longtime friends and could not have had a more wonderful time. The evening was a journey through the exotic and the familiar with twists and turns of in-betweens. Babaganoush (sp) was the starter and ended up being the word of the night... More
