When I called to make reservations at The Charleston Grille, I was told they were re-doing the floors so The Palmetto Cafe, right next to the Grille would be serving the dinner. We arrived on time to a beautifully redecorated Palmetto Cafe…after being seated for a bit, I realized the new flooring was not a very wise choice…the noise level... More

Great food, friendly staff. Loved the quail and roasted cauliflower! We had read about Nika Navarro and Brian Austin being great servers, so when we arrived we asked if any of them would be in charge of our table. Nika wasn't in and although Brian wasn't our server, he stopped by our table (someone had just told him we had... More

I absolutely love this restaurant and it is always my first dinner when I arrive in Charleston. To not go here and experience this first class, great establishment would be a complete waste of coming to Charleston. Never disappointing and always way above the bar. Great place!

A truly great meal, better than advertised. Great wait staff led by Shawn, food was beyond good - fresh, tasty, delicious. Really good. Treat yourself and eat here, you won't regret it.

Dinner service was amazing. Our server was intelligent. Her timing is very good attentive to all we needed. Food was amazing octopus salad, smoked quail to start. Scallops with morcilla. So good. Must stop destination.

The Charleston Grill is simply terrific. My meal was outstanding-I particularly enjoyed the salmon and the carrot cake fritters dessert. Service was friendly and attentive. The atmosphere was excellent too, with a beautiful room and live music.

“When in Rome” as the saying goes. So when a “Foodie” is in Charleston it means that one must try the premier of high-end dining and that is the Charleston Grill. Classically “rich” and steeped in Charleston old money history, Charleston Grill has been an award winning pillar of the dining scene for many years. We joined them on New... More

Ate here for dinner mid week and was WOWED. Ambiance is lovely, there was live music playing when I was there. Location is great, right on King Street (entrance from King Street is inside a high end shopping area). The service was impeccable - could not have been more perfect. Food was very good and clearly had care from the... More

We visited the Grill for the first time this past Christmas Eve and had a fabulous dining experience, and our expectations were high. Service was outstanding, food magnificent, and beverage recommendations were spot on with the tastes we requested. The Foie Gras was so creamy, rich and just melted in your mouth. Crab Cakes are the best in the city... More
