I don't feel that would be fair, since I only had an appetizer but I feel ANYTHING would be good. Service and food excellent!

Warm greeting. Table 25 was great as it offers privacy and views. Andrew was the lead server and has an excellent personality but knowledge of the menu as well. John was the backup. Wine list is balanced both in price and appellations. Had a 2006 Margaux varietal. Octopus appetizer was an A+. Crabcake appetizer was very very good. The Thai... More

Dined here in 2007 when Chef Bob Waggoner was at the helm. Superb! This visit did not meet our expectations. I enjoyed my starter, Romaine Hearts w/ Green Goddess Dressing,Garden Vegetables. The main course, Sea Scallops w/Chili-Chorizo Vinaigrette, Morcilla, Pea Purée was beautifully plated, but underdone. Service was adequate but not outstanding. Th live jazz was created a pleasant ambiance.

We stopped in for a glass of wine and to hear the jazz band playing just before Thanksgiving. I'm sorry I didn't get the name of the woman who poured wine for us as she gave us a tip that was truly one of the best things we had on this vacation - truffle butter popcorn with fresh grated parmesan... In Charleston for business and our dinner for forty was held at the Charleston Grill. The service was IMPECCABLE and I spent time watching the wait staff do an amazing job. Food was wonderful and our desserts were a Dessert Trio including a Pistachio Mousse? I didn't even know that I liked pistachio. It was fantastic. Assorted homemade breads and... More

I work in the hospitality and fine dining business, and the staff and food for our 30 person event was phenomenal! I can not wait to return to the area to dine again. From the drinks to the desserts, special requests, dietary needs, etc. all was met with a gracious and sincere smile and acknowledgment. Definitely worth it!

The farm fresh breakfast was one of my favorite meals from this trip. The Chorizo and goat cheese with the egg was fresh and extremely delicious!

This place is unbelievable. Live music, but perfect for dinner. My wife ordered a scallop dish that was totally fantastic. I ordered the lamb chops and they were, without exception, the best I've ever had. The wine list! Wow. Out of this world. If you are traveling for business or just Ws t to pamper the one you love, this... More

We have a second home in Charleston but has somehow never made it to Charleston Grill over the years - maybe because it is a hotel restaurant and there are so many great restaurants in Charleston. After going once, we will go again, for sure. Great food, excellent atmosphere, and attentive service. The menu has something for everyone. This is... More
