We ate here for a 50th wedding anniversary dinner. We were able to dress up and not feel out of place. The food was good and presented well. The bill for 15 people without alchohol was 400 dollars. Seems to be average price for this end of town at the nicer restaurants. The staff was excellent. It is very quiet. more

I just want to kick myself for not trying Magnolias before. I don't know why I waited so long, but you can bet I won't wait long to go back. Magnolias has something for everyone. Great Seafood, Wonderful Steaks, and don't get me started on the Buttermilk fired Chicken Yum!! If you are looking for outstanding local cuisine. You might... more

Ate here with my wife and we absolutely loved it. The food approached perfection and we had great service as well. This is a must if you want to try great Southern cousine. We had fried green tomatoes for the app and it was marvelous. We both loved our main dishes also and left very pleasantly plump. If you have... more

Their signature dish was very good: fried chicken was a huge boneless breast with a panko-like breading, not at all greasy, served with collard greens and garlic mashed potatoes. Soup starter was not hot (or even warm). Too full to order dessert. Service was efficient. Back room significantly quieter than front of house. Saturday night ... lots of large parties.... more

My husband and I just returned from a wonderful six day stay in Charleston and had some of the best dining experiences that we can remember. One of our favorite restaurants was Magnolias. The restaurant is lovely and the night we were there it was busy but we never felt rushed or put off. The service was great, our waitress... more

We had Sunday brunch here. The emphasis is a little more on the lunch than breakfast and we prefer the reverse. However, we both had lunch type meals and greatly enjoyed them. Wait staff is attentive and knowledgeable. A very pleasant meal. more

My fiance and I were visiting for a quick weekend and I found the restaurant listed here on Trip Advisor. We were limited on time as we were catching a haunted Charleston tour (which was fabulous) and the service could not have been better. The hostess told us it was not a problem we did not have a reservation(On a... more

The food was excellent and our server was very sweet and attentive. Great place to eat. I had the parmesan encrusted flounder and it was wonderful. My SIL had on of the steak dishes and she thought it was fantastic. more
