Magnolias offers a very unique menu and everything we tried was fantastic! It was a bit pricy, but worth it. The location is great and easy to get to.

....and the food was delicious. We went for brunch and could not have been happier with our choices. We started with Peach Fritter Poppers and Housemade Pimento cheese, which were both very, very good. My husband has never liked collards and usually passes them on to me - however he loved Magnolia's! I had the banana pudding stuffed French toast... More

I was eager to sample southern cooking on my recent visit to magnolias and to be honest, it far exceeded my expectations at magnolias. BBQ pulled pork, creamy grits, biscuits, collared greens, corn bread and fried chicken were all sampled by my girlfriend and I in the night. All of which we thoroughly enjoyed. I'd recommend the BBQ pulled pork... More

Food was very good. The atmosphere was very nice. Overall experience was great. I definitely would go back. Pecan pie and fried chicken was out of this world.

This is an upscale restaurant with high prices. The food is terrific, but the ladies bathroom condition is disgusting. There was no air conditioning or ventilation in it, and it had a horrible smell. When we asked the hostess why the bathroom had no air conditioning, she said she wondered the same thing herself. There is no excuse for this.... More

I had dinner there this past Friday and all I can say is WOW. I lived in Charleston over 15 years ago and loved this place back then. Wow it's just as good now as it was then. The crab cake is one of my favorites. We even had a six year old with us and she lived it too.... More

This was our first dinning experience at Magnolias in downtown Charleston, SC. When we arrived, they said about 30-45 min wait and took my cell number to text when our table was ready. We started to do some sightseeing when they texted us that our table was ready, Our wait was just 5-10 minutes (nice, especially with no having a... More

Was nothing short of amazing.... After much reflection we've decided that magnolia's buttermilk chicken, their corn, and Poogan's Porch's Mac N Cheese and biscuits would be the perfect southern dish of all time if combined. Everything about Magnolia's was fantastic. Everything. They also had a couple anniversary surprises for us, which was a good as the ice cream on top... More

The ambiance, the food, the service, the experience. We absolutely loved our visit to Magnolia's. The food, expertly prepared, defied comparison. On the server's recommendation, I hesitantly ordered the flounder, something I hadn't tried before. The exquisite taste of the fish rewarded my bravery. From appetizers to dessert every aspect of our meal served to impress. While we had a... More

This place had a good menu with lots of great Southern fare. It got a little rowdy and the service was a tad slow, but the vibe was exciting and everything was so good my friends and I didn't really care. It's also located in an interesting neighborghood full of restaurants and late night hangouts near the Market. Worth a... More
