Wonderful Meal

We had dinner here during a recent trip to Charleston - having read the good reviews and also a recommendation from hotel staff. The meals were beautifully presented and the restaurant has a fine diving atmosphere without being overly expensive. Highly recommended.

This restaurant has a very fancy and elegant atmosphere. Although the food was a little pricey for my frugalness it was well worth it. Everything we ordered was absolutely delicious. I enjoyed everything about my experience and will definitely be going back again when it's time to splurge and celebrate something!

My wife and I went here for lunch on a weekday while on vacation. We've been here twice before - once for Sunday brunch and once for a special dinner. It is always very good. Mac and cheese appetizer - good but spicy. Excellent shrimp & sausage grits. Blue crab bisque was much too salty to enjoy. Also, it gets... More

By far the best meal of the trip and we ate extremely well! This restaurant was suggest to us and it certainly did not disappoint. You will NEED reservations here, as it is quite popular. The service was excellent and the chef inspired meals were exceptional. We had reservations weeks in advance and the table, next to the window, was... More

Food was fist class and the service was excellent! Absolutely nothing to complain about here. Early dinner so it was quiet but very nice.

One of the best dinners I've had in a long time. It's a beautiful restaurant, and the servers are friendly and very knowledgeable about the food. The buttermilk fried chicken dinner was amazing. The crab cakes melted in my mouth, and the filet cut like butter. Our desert, the cream cheese pecan brownie with white chocolate ice cream, sent this... More

The food was wonderful, and the service could not have been better. I had the 12oz steak and it was perfectly done. Others had the flounder and that was just as good. As we left there was a line at the door waiting to be seated. My only criticism was the difficulty getting through the people to leave the restaurant.

Magnolias is a wonderful restaurant that specializes in low country southern cooking. The restaurant is much larger than it looks from the street. We sat in the back room which was attractive. Service was excellent. All of the dishes we sampled were exceptional. Portions were very generous.

This was the last restaurant my sister, niece and I ate at before departing Charleston. I had my best meal of the week. Bryan, the waiter, recommended his favorite entree, the flounder. It was delicious. The combination of fish, corn, asparagus and tomatoes over rice with a wonderful sauce was amazing. My sister had the fried green tomato BLT which... More

This was our last night vacation meal place. Nice decor and service. Food was good but I expected a unique taste experience. A nice place for a dress up dinner.
