Wow this is a great little restaurant, loved our waiter, meal was outstanding, my husband had shrimp and grits, and I had the duck breast, great appetizer of pimento cheese and crackers, and the pecan pie was plate licking good.

One of the best dining experiences of my life, from the food to the ambience to the service. Fantastic southern classics prepared perfectly, served knowledgably with the white glove touch.

This restaurant in the heart of Charleston, SC is an institution and worth the wait if you forgot to make reservations. The Seafood and Grits is a mainstay and even though I am not a grits kind of guy, I have to say it was outstanding. A little noisy because it is always full, it still is a wonderful place... More

Magnolias was not really on our radar but friends who live on the Battery invited us to go to Sunday brunch. We were SOOO glad we joined them. We sat at the bar, I did not witness this but I think that there may have been a wait for a table. The staff at the bar was a lot of... More

I can not even remember what my entrée was but do remember that I have never eaten anywhere where I thought the "bed" for the entrée rivaled the meal itself. Everyone in our party thought the same. It was really good.

good location, near or in the main entertainment areas, nice ambience, tablecloths at lunch - not a common site in a tourist town. Very good and just right amount friendly service. Food is well above average for anywhere, let alone a touristy town. decent wine list, and prices are about right for the quality of food/service/ambience. Advise y'll to skip... More

It's right in the middle of everything, we so enjoyed the food and the atmosphere. We had a late lunch there on a Saturday, after our bus tour dropped us off nearby. My husband had the seafood & grits, and I had pimento cheese and salad. We also enjoyed the desserts. Our server Joseph was great too. Thumbs up.

As it seems I am highly allergic to Lobster, and it was used as a soup base in my rice, it was a little bit of a scare for me. Did not get to finish my lunch when I found out there was Lobster stock used on the rice, which by the way was so mouthwatering, it might have been... More
