Beautiful and delicious

The tasting menu was excellent as was the service. This may be the best meal you can get in Charleston.

it was our lucky evening !! No table available at Husks so we ended up at McCrady's. What an extraordinary meal. We ordered a sampler of starters to share and followed with one meat and one fish main courses. Left speechless by the subtle explosion of delightful tastes left in our mouth dish after dish. Creative combination of ingredients always... More

Saw Bizarre Foods with Andrew Zimmern discussing with the chef/owner of Husk and McCrady's. So when we realized we'd be in Charleston, I made reservations. Very good food; excellent service. Just felt like being in real Charleston. Portions are beautifully prepped. Not huge, but tasty. Drinks were excellent as well...good option for sitting at bar.

My wife and I ate here with another couple for dinner. We had a reservation for 5:45 and it was pretty empty until around 6:30. The first thing you notice is the very limited menu. There were 4 entrees (2 fish, 1 beef, 1 pork) and 4 small plates (apps). The server informed us that the entrée portions would be... More

We spent several days and did our research before booking reservations in Charleston. After a series of terrific meals, McCrady's was definitely the best. We started with cocktails -- the Dirty Sheila was a standout! Then had 4 small plates -- the brisket, beef tartare, the country ham, and a shrimp dish. All were superb. Absolutely delicious blend of tastes,... More

Bartender Sam was fun, personable, informative and made a great Sidecar for me. Dinner was an adventure in eating.

Ambiance was great, service was great, food was delicious - why only 3 stars? Portions are very small for the price, not a great value. Left hungry and ended up asking for more bread at end of meal just to fill up. Menu items are tapas like portions, but at an average price of around $20 each, not exactly tapas... More

Better than we even expected! They were able to take the 6 of us at the last minute with no reservation. The food was exceptional and our waiter Paul was helpful, friendly and fun. It's nice to have a professional waiter! Please tip your waitstaff accordingly they work extremely hard and can make or break a dining experience!

So glad we dined here.. The historical ambience is inviting and the attention from the wait staff, superb. Our family of 5 tried several small plates to pass around and then settled on two entrees to share, as well. The food is fresh from the farm and prepared by talented chefs. The wine list is extensive. We all left very... More

I really wanted to like this place, but I just couldn't. The concept was a little tough for me to enjoy. They have no real courses and you just order a bunch of small plates. It's a very difficult place for picky eaters or vegetarians because most of the dishes are a lavish combination of many things (pork with eggplant,... More
