Lovely experience

Such a great evening at McCrady's! The bartenders are very talented and made us cocktails based on our preferences! The ambience is lovely, the history of the old building is very interesting. Loved that it was in an alley. But the best part is the food - just delicious and amazing. We enjoyed... read more

Pricey! Didn't think the food was all that it is said to be! Service was excellent! Cocktails were great! Food was ok! Was expecting more! Would try again

Very good food served in a more formal atmosphere. Guests were well dressed, conversations hushed and tables set impeccably. The Quail provided a few of the best tasting bites we've ever experienced. Every dish was quite good but Charleston has even better possibilities. Great for a formal date, entertaining affluent friends or business associates. The wine list is impressive.

We went for the tasting menu which was out of this world! 10 courses of amazing dishes that were so carefully and intricately prepared. The beef tartare was our favorite of the bunch and it was truly out of this world! Bravo!

Easily our best meal in Charleston! Attentive, knowledgeable service and amazing food beautifully presented. Small plates packed with layers of flavor.

We planned our son's rehearsal dinner at McCrady's all long distant by email and phone. If you have a function to plan I highly recommend this facility. The event staff was helpful and professional. The food was outstanding. We had visited for dinner several times prior to choosing McCrady's so we knew the food would be outstanding. What we did... More

Visited McCrady's as part of birthday celebration. We had the the tasting menu and it was superb. The food and presentation were flawless and the menu introduced us to new concepts and tastes in fine dining. The service was excellent and the wine list provided a good range in price and styles. Very much a top favorite that will certainly... More

Our experience at McCradys' was during a Southeast Wildlife Art Show and it was not good. The restaurant came highly rated and has an excellent wine list and wait staff. The lamb medallions were the size of a quarter and three were served on a large plate. It was actually embarrassing for our companion who had selected the restaurant.

Another historic location. Couples or groups, either way the location has intimate surroundings. Specialized menu full of unique items. Amazing presentation and even better taste. Let your waiter advise you. Save room for desert. Menu and other details can be found on their website.

I would love to give this restaurant a high rating with its wonderful atmosphere, courteous knowledgeable staff and scrumptious food that enlivens the senses. However, I can't ignore the elephant in the room- the restaurant's lack of generosity. The menu distinguishes its entrees and appetizers by price only and they are lumped together on one page. No indication was given... More
