On a recent visit my wife and I were as impressed as ever with the creativity and quality of the food. You will spend over one hundred per person (4 courses, with wine, tip, tax), but you will not regret it (unless you prefer more basic fare).

This was my first time back since Mc Crady's changed the menu. It is now a four course or nine course meal with choices in each course. This is a must restaurant if you enjoy great food prepared to perfection. The servers are extremely knowledgeable on all the offerings and are able to provide excellent insight into the various servings.... More

We have been coming to this restaurant every time we stay in Charleston--six times over the past 15 years--and have never been disappointed in the quality of the meal. The food is top-notch, the service extraordinary, and the ambiance above average--not only that, but McCrady's stays away from the recent trend of noisy, real noisy, rooms that seems to dominate... A friend is a fan of the chef, Sean Brock, and recommended we visit Husk or McCrady's (or both). Clearly, these spots are popular because we couldn't even get into Husk, and McCrady's was either 6:15 or 9:45. Atmosphere is great. An old tavern with an alley entrance transformed into a warm, interesting restaurant. The service was great. Our server... More

It is a shame that more food critics don’t pay attention to the restaurants here, and are too busy in New York, Chicago, LA, and Miami. Chef Sean Brock has gone all out, with two choices, a four course menu, or a nine course menu, The four course menu which was $65.00 per person offered a choice of between 3-5... More

Need I say more. This James Beard recipient has what it takes to give you an exceptional dinning experience in a city full of well deserving 5 star restaurants The menu offers 4 courses at $65. If paired with wines it's an additional $40 per person. You have 2-3 choices per course. Each dish is paired with a different wine... More

The four-course meal was perfectly portioned and mouth-watering. Really unique combinations of flavors. Most, if not all, ingredients are from local farms. Delightful!! Perfect for a special occasion or date night. Great atmosphere and service. Would definitely go back.

We visited McCrady's with our family of 5 for Thanksgiving dinner. The first Thanksgiving we have not stayed at Mom's and we and she were apprehensive it would be a disappointing experience. We were wrong! It was a wonderful and creative meal!

What an excellent dinner. The hostess, the server, the bartender gave above and beyond service. We had a 9:30pm reservation and they sat us right on time. We first had a glass of wine at the bar. Their wine list is excellent and they have some superb wines by the glass that you normally couldn't get. The dinner is a... More
