Lunch Spot

This is a good restaurant but not good enough to compete with Charleston's elite dinner restaurants. For lunch it was fine. The food is fresh and varied. Next time though, I'll try Husk.

This is a surprisingly large place and might be good for large groups. My wife and I had lunch here right after our arrival in Charleston and both selected fish dishes. Both were good, but didn't quite rise to four stars. We prefer smaller, more-intimate restaurants. This is not one of those.

we went here with a party of 7 to celebrate graduation from college. The group ordered different dishes. No one had the same thing. Uniformly, the reaction from everyone was that their dinners were absolutely perfect. Apps and desserts were shared and were excellent as well. Might be the best place we have been to in Charleston.

You couldn't have asked for better service. Overall our food was good, but there were a couple of flavors that seemed to be a little off. For instance, my Hoppin John had the task of raw flour. However, the Crab Cake on top was one of the best I have tasted. My husband had the Short Ribs which he said... More

It was a beautiful Tuesday, without a cloud in the sky and a wonderful breeze. As we walked down East Bay Street, we picked Blossom for an early lunch. We were shown to the outside, "hidden" garden which was just perfect for us. The food was excellent. My husband and sister both enjoyed the salmon salad, my sister raving how... More

My husband and I took a visiting family member to Blossom on May 14, 2015. We had a reservation and were seated relatively quickly. The restaurant space is impressive, with high ceilings and interesting architectural designs;however, the dining room was very noisy. Service was good, though the waitress forgot one of our side orders. Salads and soups were good; bread... More

You must know that this is in the heart of the old historic district and it is only usable because of the complementary parking lot (shared by two other restaurants) next door. The food was excellent and service was quite good for a Sunday brunch rush. Charming decor with the inside and outside seating.

Another NOISY restaurant - server had a hard time hearing us. The food was pretty good but overall the experience wasn't great by any means. Server was distracted - not bad but definitely not great (again). Somewhat "complicated" menu and nothing really appealed to either my husband or myself. You know how that goes.

Very nice menu, many options for foodies of all kinds. We do not eat shellfish or meat, there were several good options for us. Staff was excellent, very lovely inside, nice bar area. Good location.

The food, service and ambience was excellent. My husband and I thoroughly enjoyed the She Crab soup, Pulled Pork sandwich and Broccoli coleslaw. Lunch was very pleasant in the large dining area since it has lots of natural lighting. We will definitely return the next time we are in Charleston.
