Stopped in for early dinner

We just ate here. The food was good, fresh bread to start, and appatizers were tasty (calamari and Caesar salads). I had a Margherita pizza which was good, enough for two to split. Decor could be better, but we walked in with no wait at 5pm, so I can't complain too much. We came with a baby... read more

Went in on a whim and absolutely loved it. The hand pulled mozzarella sticks are a must have. The entrè and the deserts simply amazing. I would definitely recommend.

My husband and I are from FL and have decided to spend time seeing and learning Charleston, SC. We got in today, May 23'd, and headed downtown to find our way around. We booked a few top rated restaurants in advance and will review as we go. Meanwhile, we had no dinner plans for our first night and and decided... More

Not a lot of Italian restaurants in the Charleston downtown area. Bocci's is supposedly the more moderately priced of the two that were recommended to us. While it is not extremely expensive, it is still on the high end. The food however was excellent. Service was only fair. Was not offered a refill on my drink, nor any kind of... More

My husband, daughter and I ate dinner here. This is very traditional Italian. They use a heavy sweet red sauce. I had lasagna which was good. My husband had the Parmesan chicken which was cooked to perfection. Our daughter had Chicken Marsala. She said the sauce lacked flavor. Had to add salt and pepper. I know this is old Charleston,... Was raining and decided to do an early dinner at 4:30pm. Was seated promptly since there were no other customers. Three of us had ordered their lunch special of eggplant panini which came out with very little eggplant between large pieces of thick bread. Also had an order of lasagna which came out burnt all around and could not even... More

Wine selection was limited. Staff was kind enough to provide a sample. Good thing they did because it wasn't good, drank water instead. Caesar Salad and the Mozzarella Caprese were ok. Arugula and Prosciutto pizza was good. Friendly staff

Very convenient to the Historic Market area after our carriage ride. Lunch was very good. Service was attentive.

My daughter and I ate here on impulse as we were walking by on a vacation trip. While the service was slow the food made up for it. The food was amazing and atmosphere lovely. I would definitely revisit again on my next trip to Charleston!

We weren't very hungry when we cam across Bocci's. Salad with a small pizza sounded perfect. The salad was excellent! But the pizza was a huge disappointment.
