The restaurant is conveniently located near the City Market. The food was quite tasty and prices were reasonable, especially for the location.

My wife and I had been in Charleston for 5 days and we were a little over seafood and southern fried chicken. We decided to switch it up with this quaint Italian restaurant. We were seated immediately in the main dining room. It was a Saturday afternoon and all the doors were open so we could watch the people and... More

My husband and I stumbled upon Bocci's during our horse and carriage tour along the Historic Market. We dined around 5pm so the restaurant was reasonably busy but not too loud so conversation was easy between my husband and I. Our server, Kayla, greeted us with a kind smile and upbeat personality. She recommended a nice wine on special so... More

Our daughter and son in law recommended this place. Nice cute place with a down stairs and upstairs in an old home. I started out with a nice glass of the wine that was being featured and calamari as an appetizer. Very good and we are picky once being native New Englander's. We both had good meals - I had... More

My husband and I took a trip to Charleston for our anniversary. We went on a carriage tour and they recommended Bocci's. The restaurant itself is very cute and welcoming. There was only a 10 minute wait on a Thursday night which was great. My husband ordered the lasagna which came out sizzling and was out of this world! I... More

My wife and I dined there tonight and had an excellent experience. Very nice atmosphere, the food and service were excellent. We started with the Arancini appetizer, an Arborio rice ball made with sausage, parmesan, sage, risotto and mozzarella, fried to golden brown and served with marinara sauce. We split this. My wife had Chicken Marsala, I had Chicken Picatta.... More

this place is promoted as italian food. to start our salad was dressed with vinegar and oil, the emphasis on vinegar. had some spice but it was only detectable by visual, not taste. worse part it was a really good salad if it was dressed properly. the sausage in the spaghetti with meatballs and sausage was of an unknown variety.... We had dinner here last year and what a surprise it was .my wife ordered the home made knoccis which were ricotta cheese instead of potatoe and is still raving about them months later. I had the homemade lasagna which was out of this world. Here is a place where the chef truly cares what he puts on the table.we can't... More

Absolutely the best fried mozzarella...it's hand pulled! Eggplant parm and veal parm were both terrific. Garden fresh sauces and ingredients. Historic dining in the heart of the cit. loved everything about it.

We were very surprised just how poor the food was based on some of these reviews. First, always be leery when a restaurant offers coupons in the local free travel guides. The pizza was not even as good as frozen boxed pizza in a grocery store. The manicotti was less than average. Just bad overall.
