Great dinner!

We were wandering around Charleston and came across this restaurant. We were very pleased with our meal. My husband had the chicken piccata and I had a calzone- both were delicious. The staff was very friendly as well

While my wife was hosting a bridal lunch in a back room, I sat by the window at the front corner table. I could see all activities in the restaurant and the carriage tours going by outside. My waitress was very attentive and catered to my every need. I ate a sandwich and salad. It was hot outside and I... More

My boyfriend, some friends and I stopped here for dinner while on vacation. It was a nice setting and everyone was ok friendly. My boyfriend got the duck tuscano and it was amazing however I ordered the frutti di Mari was terrible. It had a almost sour taste and you can tell they used too much wine and it just... More

Just made it for happy hour. The brushetta was great and the bread is so good with olive oil. The chicken parmesean was so big and excellent.

In the mood for pasta, we sought out this restaurant one evening. We had not made a reservation- just walked in and asked if they had a table for two. Fortunately they have a dining area where the bar is, which is separate from the main dining room. This is where they were seating the "walk-ins". It was actually really... More

crowded in the city on a saturday night and just wanted something different. Food was OK - not really italian cuisine, more like americanized italian.

We loved the setting and the service. They're open late, which was great for us as we'd just been on a nighttime tour. It's right across the street from the hotel where we were staying, so it was convenient and it wasn't busy at all. The food and the wine were fine; we enjoyed our meal. I wouldn't go out... More

I had pegged this restaurant from my Charleston visitor's guide, noting it was a "local favorite". While the atmosphere was fine and a bit more quiet as its on a side street, I was not wowed by the food. My mom ordered the baked ziti and I had the lasagna. You can't complain about the portions as they are generous... More

Our "not to fail" restaurant when downtown. Great atmosphere, especially if the evening is nice and the doors are open to the street. Good Italian food. The special is usually a "can't miss".

We had a large group and every one of us was very pleased with our meal! The fried calamari was very crisp and light and tasted fabulous, as did the fried heart of palm appetizer. The ambience is very authentic, especially if you can sit on the glassed-in balcony or the private room. Just a very good Italian restaurant in... More
