If your visiting Charleston and have a car than you should visit this out of the way restaurant. Food is very good. Prices are reasonable and the people are very nice. Expect a long wait. They do not take reservations. I'm a vegetarian and my wife is not but we both had a great supper.

Love the positive review, thanks so much. Curious did you eat at our restaurant downtown? Also, for next visit consider downloading the app NoWait and you can simply get your name on the wait on your way over and we will have a table ready for you very quick. casey More

After a day of sightseeing my wife and I picked up our car to head to our room near the airport. We decided to stop at Five Loaves for dinner. It is very close to I-26 and has free parking. I had the Thai hot pot with shrimp, a meal to die for. My wife is gluten free and had... More

This was our backup option to Hall's gospel brunch. We were so pleased with Five Loaves, we didn't look back!! You have got to go here! It is also very affordable...6 adults and 1 toddler ate for around $100. And we had a pitcher of mimosas! Entrees-chicken and waffles (I am not much of a meat eater, and splurged during... More

My daughter found this cafe nestled in a residential area of Charleston, few blocks in from Kings Street. Loved the decor (especially the little sayings written on the tables). Specials were on the chalk board. We had the Tomato Soup with Crabmeat and we split the Ultimate BLT on a baguette. Service was totally excellent. Coffee was perfect. We were... More

Went for Sunday brunch. Loved the huevos rancheros. Very clean tasting with black beans and crispy tortillas. Good bargain on mimosas by the carafe too. Danielle, server , was excellent.

What an amazingly charming restaurant to celebrate my birthday. My family and I couldn't be more impressed with the menu, friendliness of the staff, cleanliness and they were kid friendly. It cost around $45 for my family of 5 to have a late lunch and there was a lot of food. From the homemade soups to the sandwiches to my... More

Huevos rancheros were excellent. Bourbon maple syrup sweet but not over sugary. Family friendly. Look forward to going back.

Popped in the night before the marathon and had a wonderful, simple dinner. Goat cheese gnocchi in a balsamic reduction to start and the eggplant parm for dinner. The sauce was a bit thin but delicious. Lots of options for vegetarians and meat eaters alike! Worth the 20 min wait.
