I liked the setting and the food. Had the green tomatoes for an appetizer and the chicken salad for lunch. Service was good. Not too expensive which made it nice

We had such a lovely experience at 82 Queen. We sat in the courtyard which was beautiful and I tried my first southern meal, shrimp and grits.....fabulous!! Wonderful atmosphere and great food, just what we were looking for on our first trip to Charleston.

I wanted our children to have a great experience and the place is in a lovely section of Charleston so here we go with two babies, not a good idea. In the garden we had a lovely table but it was hot, probably would have been better inside, tables are real close, and you can hear everyone's conversation. Pricing was... More

Went here looking for real southern food: not disappointed. Great gumbo, jambalaya, succotash and collard greens. Good choice of wines (though not extensive). Service efficient and friendly.

This is a cute little place downtown, and has a bit of a historic feel to it... however they put us in a room with fake library book wallpaper, and plastic deer antlers. I'm sorry, I find that tacky. Use nice wallpaper and put real books around... and lose the plastic. shudder. I was expecting exceptional food and some of... More

Got a table in the courtyard in the evening; Mike was our waiter & he was awesome. My husband got the shrimp & grits & she crab soup & it was crazy yummy. I got the jambalaya & boiled peanut collards soup. Very very good. It was a beautiful location, a fabulous meal, & excellent service. Loved it!

Love 82 Queen's sister restaurant Low Country Bistro. However 82 Queen was a miss on the night we visited...Waiter told me the gumbo was spicy. It just tasted like a bowl of gravy. My wife sent back her scallops as they were pink in the middle. They came back with a whole new plate but the scallops were still pink... More

Great food!We went during restaurant week where you had three courses for $30.00.The crab soup was very creamy and had plenty of crab in it. The steak was a little on the small size but very tender. The chocolate Cheesecake was dreamy. We ate in the bar but were given very good service. We recommend making reservations ahead of time.

Sitting in the courtyard was delightful and picturesque. Our sever Lindsey was adorable and most helpful I. The describing the meal and how things were prepared. The Duck was delicious and the fried green tomatoes appetizer bites were a great sampling. Their She-crab soup was outstanding. Also the jambalaya my husband had was excellent. A bit pricey but the atmosphere... More
