A Charleston Find

This charming little hole in the wall near the City Market has some character! I don't love tomatoes, but had to try the Tomato Pie, one of the foods they are famous for. It was deliciously cheesy and I wish I could make it at home. The bourbon pecan bacon pie was also outstanding. The only... read more

I saw the recommendations and I love finding DDD restaurants to try. They really need to spend some money fixing up the place. It was not very clean or inviting. The food was good but overpriced. Definitely a DIVE.

This little hole in the wall was featured in Diners, Drive-ins and Dives. The food was interesting and tasty, but it is very small. WE ate outside in the heat beside a "difficult" family, so our experience could have been better. It is a little disconcerting that they don't have a restroom. You can literally walk right by this place... More

Best gravy and biscuit I've ever had. Ate there two days for breakfast. My only complaint is that I can't eat there more often. Loved it. I'd love to have the gravy recipe.

This is a little "hole in the wall" place that puts 100% of their focus on the food. If you need fancy décor or nuanced "atmosphere" to enjoy your food, this is NOT the place for you. This is outstanding food in a minimalist environment. Almost like stumbling across gourmet food in a roadside diner! We discovered this place on... More

Tiny place next to a convenience store. On the day I went there was no a/c and they weren't able to take credit cards- not sure how regular this is. That being said the food was good but seemed expensive for the atmosphere.

Found this breakfast place by asking our waiters at dinner. Four different waiters at high end restaurants recommended this place. Eggs are awesome but on a little salty side. They must cook them in the bacon fat... Yum! Pancakes were okay. Biscuits and grits are buttery. Decor is a hole in the wall, especially when their air-conditioning is not working.... More

There was a short line to get inside Dixie Supply and the woman in front of us said this was her third straight day she had come there for breakfast. She also told us to get the tomato pie which she said was fantastic. We soon found out that they had no tomato pie left. We still managed to have... More
