What a great little joint! This is not the polished and packaged venue made to order for tourists. The place is clean and well lit with inside and outside seating. Staff were awesome, friendly, helpful, all around wonderful. The menu is quite varied and breakfast is available all day. We visited late in the morning and chose breakfast items, pancakes,... More

Great local food. Quick service. Not far from the historical attractions and the open market. Can't wait to go back!

Met a recent friend to talk about business opps. He is from Charleston and picked this place knowing that I like good local food. It was very busy. We got a table in about 15 minutes and good shortly after. Local and I got his favorite...a biscuit with fried chicken, sausage with gravy and a medium fried egg on top.... More

Everything about this place is perfect! We were only in town for the day and had the most amazing Shrimp BLT and Chicken and biscuits. From the friendly staff to the low key atmosphere this is a must visit!!!

This place totally lacks atmosphere and totally delivers in food quality. The dishes are unique and not to be missed. Look for the line to eat here.

We recently ate breakfast here while in town for a wedding. We read in a guide book that it had been featured on a show we love, Diners, Drive Ins and Dives, so we thought we'd give it a try. The atmosphere is nothing to write home about, but the food was very tasty. We especially enjoyed the vanilla french... More

Went there at opening time looking forward to having good southern breakfast. Waited 15 minutes along with several over people - some were locals. No one showed up to open. Checked Trip Advisor and went to another restaurant.

Several friends recommended this place to us, but quite frankly I'm not sure why it is considered so great. It is conveniently located in the heart of downtown Charleston, but it shares the parking lot with a convenience store and there really isn't much to look at. The food was okay, but nothing special. My son ordered pancakes and said... More

We return to Dixie Supply Bakery & Cafe each time we are in Charleston. The food keeps drawing us back . . . especially the tomato pie. People line up to order and eat there. However, you will eat at small tables, either outside or in where many are in line ordering -- people are almost on top of you.... More

The food here was really good. I tried the Shrimp and grits and it was out of this world. The best shrimp and grits I have ever eaten. We had 3 different dishes and they were all wonderful. The place is small and there are not very many tables. They have take out and the few tables inside and outside.... More
