Next to convenience shop about a block from the historic market

Mostly breakfast and lunch in a tiny cafe generally packed and a line serving few pastries and select sandwiches and shrimp and grits. They don't honor their posted closing times. Flew to Charleston just to go here and they closed 30 minutes early! Disgusted. They deserve zero stars for that.

This rather unassuming place sure packs in a lot of great flavored! Visiting from out of town. We were most impressed with our light lunch and hospitality. Seems like a local hang out as well. Food is definitely amazing (shrimp BLT, omg) and service and atmosphere as charming as the city itself.

Stopped in this small location as part of our journey to hit Diners, Drive-ins, & Dives restaurants, and we were NOT disappointed. Although the place is small and appeared to turn some away due to it's small size or cooking smells, the staff was friendly and the food was GREAT. We had the Shrimp & Grits and a Flounder Sandwich,... More

Dixie Supply is just around the corner from where we stay in Charleston so breakfast here is a must at least once each visit. They have the best grits I have ever eaten -- creamy and yummy. They also make a mean fried egg! Had a chance encounter with the owner when he was closing up and he's a gem... More

It's small but the food is delicious. My family always stops in to a have a great breakfast here. The omelets are really good, along with the pancakes. and the lily's stuffed French toast with peaches is very good. WE have never been disappointed with our food choices. I would highly recommend coming here.

I grew up on grits, and love them, but never knew they could be this amazing! Grits cooked overnight are just incredible.

This is a favorite breakfast stop whenever we visit Charleston, which is often. Not a fancy place, but food is good, variety is great, and the Heirloom Tomato Pie is all it is cracked up to be, recommended. Also good place for college kids to get a good Saturday breakfast after Friday night "socializing"

This is a hole in the wall. It is attached to a convenience store and not much to look at. There is limited seating inside, but we went on a slow day/time and easily got a table. The order-taker was efficient and pleasant, but I wouldn't say the service was outstanding. It appears a bit rugged and perhaps a tad... More

First, we were very lucky to find a parking place in the small lot. (The lot across the street wants $10 no matter how long one is parked there!) There was a short wait, but it wasn't bad, and the staff members are friendly and efficient. I ordered the biscuit with gravy, egg, and fried chicken with a small coffee.... More
