Surprisingly good pizza

We got a "Belly Bite" for a free small pizza and soda so decided to give it a try. We didn't know what to expect since we had not been there before and didn't go in with great expectations. Friendly service in a clean, bright dining room made a worthwhile stop for lunch. Very good thin crust, personal pizza and a good selection of beers on tap. The "philly burrito" sounded really good: philly cheesesteak inside a calzone/stromboli. Pizza by the slice is available here, looked good, and was a lunch special as two slices, or a slice with... and a good thing got better. My wife and I loved Cibo's as a great little spot close to home for a quick dinner. When Cibo's closed we were heartbroken. The good news is when Hideaway Pizza Kitchen opened we were happy to have our expectations exceeded. Still a great place to go for a quick dinner, still great carry... More

My husband and I were visiting Charleston for the first time this past weekend and we stumbled upon Hideaway while driving through James Island. Very welcoming paint job/signage on the exterior with a casual warmth on the inside. They have two rooms to choose from, one with the bar on your right and one with a comfy banquette on the... More

This restaurant location apparently has new owners, has expanded and has a different menu. We decided to give it a try. We chose a table and the waitress approached us for our drink orders. She brought us waters with lemon and immediately asked to take our orders. We were not given cutlery or napkins and had to ask so we... More

I'd been to the old restaurant bunches. Even had a favorite sub. Though my old sub is gone, I gave the new, expanded spot a try. Wow, even better than I expected. Just had the Parm. meatball sub and it surpassed my expectations.....delicious without being messy. Flavorful meatballs, complimented by a homemade, thick, red sauce and melted provolone cheese on... We were lost while trying to find the Fort Sumter Tour and ran across this place. It was sooo good. My husband had a meat lover's type pizza and I had the hamburger with swiss cheese and a fried egg. We also split a salad which had spring greens and some pickled red onion strings that were so good along... More

A great little place to go for a quick bite. The salads are really good as are the sandwiches. They make a really good burger too. You can eat in, pick up or they deliver. Cibo's makes a really good pizza too. Zone of my personal favorite steak sandwiches as well.

Ordered a pizza two nights ago and it was the most flavorful, crispy and delicious pizza I have had in many years. I WILL be going back and recommending this place to others. Now I have to get a menu to see what else I can try. Every person I talked to was very pleasant and helpful. I had eaten... More

We are so pleased that you enjoyed your pizza. Since purchasing the restaurant in October , we have been working hard to make Cibo's a great neighborhood pizzeria. Thanks for the kind words! More

Went there yesterday for a quick bite. Walked in and found a guy eating something, he said it was the Stromboli. I said "hell yeah." Crispy outer shell, all handmade there and then when you order. Waitress was very nice and made sure that I was visited numerous times. Quick real custom lunch. Price was good too.
