We are from Nashville, TN and were staying with friends in Mt. Pleasant who recommended this restaurant. It was a fantastic meal! One of our dining partners is a chef and he also thought the meal was very creative, well presented, and delicious. Our service from Philip could not have been better. There is handy pay parking in a lot... More

FIG is a restaurant not to be missed, in Charleston. In a city known for outstanding culinary experiences, FIG delivers. The food was melt-in-your-mouth-delicious and perfectly prepared. Their staff always took their time and made us feel like we were the only ones in the restaurant - never rushed. We were kept up to date with seating (we were walk-ins... More

It's so hard to review on just one visit but they missed with us. Imaginative menu. Very well run with professional waitstaff. They know their offerings including the very good wine list. But then something happened in the kitchen and it took 30 minutes from clearing the appetizer to entree. Without a word from the staff who disappeared although someone... More

We eat at Fig every time we drive from Ohio to points south, sitting at the bar enjoying the good drinks and conversations over dinner with Andrew, world's best bartender !!! The fish stew is fantastic, as is their entire menu. Highly recommend FIG where the Food Is Good.

It is difficult to get reservations at FIG, but so worth the planning ahead that it takes. Recently we had another memorable experience there. To start, we shared the chicken liver pate - silky smooth and well seasoned, served with pickles and toasted brioche. The nine vegetable salad was so different and appealing. One of us paired that for dinner... More

The Amberjack I had was truly exceptional with topping of capers and other fantastic goodies. The waitress was the best we had in Charleston and really "sold" the menu. Everyone at the table was delighted with the gourmet meal that they ordered. We had made our reservations a few weeks in advance, as recommended, but I was still surprised that... More

Hey ya'll FIG is worth the money and wait (if you can get in). We were in Charleston for our anniversary and painstakingly researched the best foodie places and FIG was at the top of our list. The bad news, there were no reservations. The good news, you can walk in an sit at the bar (first come first serve).... More

WE had a great meal at FIG. The atmosphere is casual. I love that even though the restaurant is so popular they have not succumbed to the number of reservations and added more tables. The tables were spaced comfortably apart. Our servers were quite helpful. The fish that aI had (Porgy) was really delicious. The menu was not huge but... More

Our server was one of the best servers I've ever had in a restaurant. She was more than knowledgeable about the offerings, describing things at a whole new level. Our group each got different entrees so we could try as much as possible. We let our server order an assortment of different appetizers for the whole table. Everything was great... More

Getting into this restaurant on short notice is no small feat. But we were willing to go late and so we managed to get a table. Our waiter was excellent. they do not serve more than four at a table nd so we were separated from our party of eight. It still worked out. I had a tomato tart tartan... More
