Wife and I really loved FIG. Excellent service and food. We both ordered the grouper and it was to die for. Cheese plate amazing too!

Mrs H and I had just checked in at the Renaissance and asked the Concierge where to go for a good meal at an upscale place. She said: "You can try FIG, but you'll be lucky to get a seat at the Bar." We walked the 2 blocks down Meeting St. The girl at the desk got us the last... More

what an exceptional treat. We had less than 24 hours in rainy Charleston this summer evening and wanted a fine dining experience in walking distance of our hotel. Perfecto! FIG! Without a rez, we were welcomed warmly, our umbrella was checked and we enjoyed cocktails in a long bar area. The community table rescued us from a very long wait... More

I was making a last minute reservation to dine at Fig. The time was not available but the hostess said she would take our number and call if there was a cancelation. Luckily we received a call back about an hour later telling us there was a table available. After the dining experience we had, I am soooo glad we... More

We had dinner at FIG on July 4. The tomato tarte was outstanding (appetizer). For the main course, the snapper and grouper were both very good. Highly recommended.

I will cut to the chase...FIG is by far the best restaurant I have ever been to. Without even going to other restaurants in Charleston, I'd go as far a saying it's the best in Charleston.

FIG was absolutely amazing. Good, attentive service, stunning food and great wine. Our server, Ryan, was very service-minded, and made us feel at home. We ordered a dessert to share even though we were really stuffed after dinner. Everything was so good, and the wine list impressive. They had great, surprising wines by the glass. Great if you are not... More

The food is EVERYTHING the hype says--- fresh, inventive, delicious! However, the bartender/server Andrew was aloof, or what felt like "affected." He was all business, didn't offer any help, suggestions, and I felt intimidated even asking about wine. I would not hesitate to go back and try the dining area, but don't think I'd rush to the bar (which is... More

We had read on Tripadvisor that FIG was a good place to eat (we are not sure - is it a chain?). Additionally, an LA Times article spoke highly of it. And, when we checked into the Zero George Hotel in Charleston and mentioned that we had dinner reservations at FIG, but weren't sure if we were going to keep... More
