With a variety of choices, our group choose to try as much as possible. Everyone was very satisfied with what was served. And all completed with some good wines

I had the best Bouillabaisse I have eaten since I was in France only they called it Fish Stew at Fig. Their bread was outstanding. A warm informal atmosphere. A very well informed waitstaff. If I lived in Charleston it would be my favorite restaurant.

The food was excellent! They could work a bit on the atmosphere though, but overall a good experience! Try the swordfish!

Only complaint is crowded and difficult to get a reservation. Service was just ok, because the place was busy. All dishes were excellent. I had the snapper which was fresh as can be, delicate and tasty.

We were in town for 4 nights and this was my favorite restaurantt for food while I enjoyed the ambiance of Husk more. It is a very lively atmosphere here and a bit noisy so if your looking for a quiet, romantic place it may not be the best choice. We had Lynsay for our server and I was most... More

I've lived in Charleston about a year and have tried many times to get reservations at this restaurant. I finally did pre--planning and made one six weeks in advance of my husband's birthday and we went there with my parents for dinner. As is all too often the case with trendy restaurants, they can be disappointing in reality. But FIG... More

We've been to FIG several times. We were underwhelmed by both the food and the wine selections. we ordered the fish, the pork dish, the gnocchi (as entree) and the seafood stew. The seafood stew (don't remember it's actual name) was a bland broth of fish, mussels and maybe one other seafood - it is unmemorable except that no one... More

Follow all the advice you read - forget getting a reservation on short notice, and just plan to be there at 5:00 when they open. Take a seat at the bar with Andrew and Ashley. You can order food at 5:30 or later. The food was spectacular. We enjoyed the 9 vegetable salad, gnocchi, cobia and pork schnitzel. It is... More

I guess they have great food, but I'll never know. They just cancelled my reservation for tonight on open table because they say I did not call to confirm it. When I called, they would not give me my reservation.

My fiancée and I finally tried FIG this past weekend in Charleston. Charleston is a town blessed with many fabulous restaurants, but FIG really stands out of the pack. The service was impeccable as our waitress provided detailed, very helpful explanations of the menu and appeared just at the right times. We had the ricotta gnocchi & beef Bolognese for... More
