The Ultimate Journey in Taste

I had the Fish in Cocotte which is served in a Le Creseut French Oven - The flavors combined with the Freshest of Seafood and Fish were divine! The best variation on the theme of Bouillabaisse I've had in the South.

One of the best meals we have ever had, in a friendly and unpretentious place. Emily was a great server. The wine list was full of unique choices and we settled on a rose' of a California GSM. Everything on the wine list was reasonably priced, as was dinner. We started with a cheese plate, a wonderful start that is... More

Dinner at Fig was great. There were no negatives - from the service to the food to the selection. Starters were the beef tartare and the ricotta gnocchi. The beef tartare was as good as I've eaten and the gnocchi was so light I could have made a meal of it. Mains were the grouper and the coq au vin.... More

FIG is absolutely the best restaurant in Charleston....hands down. We've been to Husk, Anson, 82 Queen, Circa 1886, Halls, Magnolias, High Cotton, SNOB, Poogan's Porch, and all the others but this is THE BEST! The food is superb and the drinks are amazing! We recommend this reataurant over any other in Charleston and we have been coming here for 14... More

Fig was the best restaurant that I have been to in Charleston. My husband and I do not like to make reservations and eat dinner around the bar many of times. Fig has a community table what a fantastic idea. We not only had a fabulous dinner but meet wonderful people to speak to. Wonderful!!!

After waiting 20 minutes for for our table, after reservations, they never brought our drinks . We finally were seated. Unusual menu. Grilled beets were very good. Homemade pasta with chicken was good but small portion. Strawberries with buttermilk ice cream was just okay.

Went to FIG with 6 ppl and we were seated promptly when we arrived (with a reservation that had to be made about one month out...this is not a bad thing because the food is sooo good). Our server was pleasant and told us all about the specialties on the menu. We had cocktails, appetizers and entrees. I will only... More

Everything people had at our table, the community table, was excellent. Hard to get a same day reservation. But there is seating at the bar and the community table !

We live in NY and a friend of mine helped us reserve FIG while in Charleston. We stayed in Charleston for 4 days and try many other restaurants. This is by far the number one. The food is inventive without arrogance: we order 5 different plates and they were all delicious, creative yet simple. It is The southern food at... More

Hands down best meal I ever ate and will go back the second I have another chance. Service was excellent, loved the preparation, local choices and change up of menu for seasonal finds. This is a do not miss spot for dinner and make reservations if you can!
