My experience at Fig was wonderful. The wine our server recommended was exactly what she said it would be - we enjoyed it very much. We had the pate for our appetizer. It was fantastic. The taste was well blended and complex while the texture was perfect. For our entree we had grouper and trigger fish. Both were excellent! The... More

This wonderful restaurant should be renamed Food Is Fabulous! Unpretentious, casual setting allows the menu to take center stage. We started off the evening with the gnocchi--it melted in our mouths--and nine spring vegetable salad--all local veggies perfectly prepared. Entrees were split between the trigger fish and the flounder (a special of the evening). Both fish were superb. The mashed... More

I began with a delicious cocktail whose name I have forgotten. My husband had the gnocchi appetizer and I had the arugula salad, which was simple and perfect. Our son had steamed clams with a pesto sauce that we soaked up with the warm sourdough bread. We both ordered fish for our main dishes. Also perfect. We also appreciated that... More

I live in the San Francisco Bay Area and have eaten in many excellent restaurants. My meal at Fig was among the best I've had. Simple, pure, and unbelievably delicious. My meal started with a salad of seven vegetables, locally raised. Sweet beets and peas, amidst lettuces and a tomato. A light vinaigrette, just a wee bit over salted. Then... More

This place doesn't look like much from the outside, but it is nicer inside (upscale but relaxed and informal). The food is creative and exceptionally prepared. Reservations well in advance are required for best dinner times. During our trip we ate at three of the top restaurants in Charleston (FIG, Circa 1886, and Magnolias) and four of the top restaurants... More

This was 5 star from start to finish. Arugula salad and gnocchi appetizers were shared as starters and the flavors played against each other very well. Gnocchi were like pillows of culinary goodness! 3 different fish dishes were served for the table: snapper, triggerfish, and flounder. My personal favorite for overall tastiness was the flounder, but anything you would be... More

I was able to snag a 5:45PM reservation. It is a hot ticket in town. There were four of us dining. Our appetizers were delicious;. It was nice to be able to try four of them. Our dinners were good too. I actually loved the appetizers even more than my main meal, and the second courses were very good. We... More

We had dinner here during our vacation, it was the best dinner we had. Food: We loved every dish. We ordered the clams in pesto, the gnocchi in broth, the fish stew and the 9 vegetable salad. Everything was superb. The food was fresh, healthy and extremely delicious. The portions were just right. They have a good wine list. Ambiance:... More

The enitre staff, from the front door, to the waiters, the bar, the management....all friendly, helpful and professional. The food was prepared clearly lovingly and with pride. We devised a tasting menu and paired it with wines. Each and every one of the suggestions was superlative. There really isn't anything more I can say. Try it ! (if u can... More
