Yummy!

Service was friendly and efficient. Great cocktails and our waitress guided us to the Pinot bottled just for them and we loved it. We had 3 appetizers which were so delicious I wanted to lick the plates. My husband got the fish stew which is great if your a seafood lover. I got the suckling pig... read more

So a group of us on a business trip went to Fig on a Monday night. The place opened at 5:30, and I thought for sure that it would be only moderately busy. Wrong. When we walked in at 6:15 for our reservation, it was pretty packed, both at the bar and at the tables. Our server was very outgoing... More

This is a must stop for foodies to visit while in town. Unassuming, well appointed dining room, excellent friendly and efficient staff serves up interesting chow with perfect execution. We were so intrigued with the apps we chose a bunch of those and bypassed the 6 entrees. Loved the cucumber soup, heirloom tomato (one large tomato presented with a fabulous... More

Out of several amazing dining experiences in Charleston, FIG was my favorite. A modern twist on Southern dining, this was an elevated experience that was well-deserving of its James Beard award. To start, we had the Tomato Tarte Titin, Stone Crab Spaghetti and Soft Shell Crab & Burrata Caprese. Every single one of these dishes was memorable and delicious, but... More

It took us 3 times to get to Fig and we only got in with the help of a friend. Fig is a farm-to-table restaurant. I would give this restaurant 4 1/2 stars. Why not 5? Well, because the portions are somewhat small and frankly, I didn't think the menu was that original. We ate soup to nuts and I... More

This was truly an experience. Our mouths were so happy from the appetizers(ricotta gnocchi-to die for!) to dessert we were taken a back at how yummy every bite was. Hard to get a table but if you show up early enough you can sit at the bar. The bar tenders are awesome as well!!

If you are a foodie this is the place to go. First, as this is so popular it is hard to get a reservation. I tried two weeks out for our anniversary only to find it booked. But don't let that stop you from dropping in. We went at close to 6 PM and were seated next to the bar.... More

My sister and I sat at the bar due to long wait for table......no problem!! Got the fish special mahi mahi with caper sauce....excellent. My sister opted for mussels and a salad, not disappointed, but very small...as most restaurants in Charleston, reservations highly recommended! If you are only visiting for a short time, don't miss this one!

Service is polite and attentive, the local is nothing special but all the reviews said the food was to die for. ... But it was not. I had a pork dish, the meat was warm, the portion small and the flavours average, for £22 / $31 I know a hundred restaurants in my home town that do better. Be careful,... More
