I had high expectations as I have read so much about this place. I had made reservation for the same evening at another establishment. Too many places to go in too little time. Our concierge said I could sell my reservation at FIG so that was the deciding factor. It was going to be good. Made a reservation calling 3... More

This restaurant was recommended to us by our hotel. Reservations are booked many days in advance, which means the "locals" eat here. Fortunately walk ins can sit at the bar and enjoy the regular dinner menu. The food was fantastic.

We had a nice dinner at Fig. The service was friendly and knowledgeable. It is a hot spot and therefore a little noisy. Charleston has some good restaurants and this is one not to miss. I had the snapper and it was moist and good. My husband had the pork schnitzel which he said was just okay. The desert was... More

I went to FIG last night with a new friend for dinner since it his her birthday today. It was a lovely atmosphere, not too noisy, and it was well lit. Although my opentable reservation did NOT go through, by some chance, we got a table in 5 minutes. The service was fantastic. Amanda our waitress had a lovely demeanor... More

Go to FIG (Food Is Good) if you can get in. The menu changes almost daily. On our visit we had: - Chilled razor clams: delicate and delicious! - Ricotta gnocchi: melt in your mouth pasta! - Mustard crusted swordfish: A must try! - Pork schnitzel: A good dish but lagging behind others. Service at FIG was fast and dependable.... More

We went to Fig, McCrady's, Cru, Husk, and Fleets Landing on this trip. We are definite foodies and have experienced delicious and interesting food around the world. Our meal at Fig was easily in the top 5. And....they graciously accommodated a very picky 6 year old. Can't say enough about this restaurant!

In a city with so many delicious restaurants, FIG still stands out as one of the best. It has a intimate, cozy atmosphere. The food is always extremely fresh and prepared in creative ways. In addition to the food, the top notch staff who are so knowledgeable about the menu items help round out this great restaurant.

With a variety of choices, our group choose to try as much as possible. Everyone was very satisfied with what was served. And all completed with some good wines

I had the best Bouillabaisse I have eaten since I was in France only they called it Fish Stew at Fig. Their bread was outstanding. A warm informal atmosphere. A very well informed waitstaff. If I lived in Charleston it would be my favorite restaurant.

The food was excellent! They could work a bit on the atmosphere though, but overall a good experience! Try the swordfish!
