The food and service was absolutely wonderful! The Chicken and Waffles are not to be missed. Wash it all down with a glass of sweet peach ice tea for a nice southern lunch.

On a whim, a friend and I decided to have lunch here since it had been a few years since we had done so. We tried several different dishes and shared them. The manager, Mike came by to see how our meal was going. He was very nice and welcoming. I noticed he also pitched in, where needed. Our server's... More

We had the pleasure of enjoying two meals at this wonderful restaurant last month. We were visiting Charleston for a few days, and no trip to that city would be complete without Sunday Brunch, or lunch @ The Palmetto Cafe. We were fortunate to do both. Our server for both our meals was Brian. I took his suggestion which blend... More

I ate breakfast and lunch here while staying at the Charleston Place Hotel. The food was great for both meals, and the service was second to none, even offering helpful suggestions for the perfect meal. Although not one to stay put in my hotel, this restaurant lured me in and I could not escape - thankfully!

A beautiful setting, smiling faces , a delicious buffet and a red rose for Mother's Day, who could ask for anything more? This was my first holiday at the Palmetto Cafe. While I having enjoyed wonderful lunches there before, I didn't think they could out due themselves, but I was wrong. Mike, the manager, along with Carnetha, were greeting every... More

I had lunch alone here while we were at Charleston Place Hotel and my husband was at a meeting. Good food, I ordered a crab, brioche sandwich and it came deconstructed which although good, I was a little surprised it was not described this way. I had a glass of wine which was one of 2 Pinot Noirs listed on... More

They serve breakfast & lunch. Had great service from John. My wife ordered off the menu every day (5 times) and I did the buffet. They use a french press for the coffee, not my favorite because of the sludge it leaves in the bottom of the cup, so i just switch to OJ. The Chef at the omelet table... More

We wanted to have an especially nice brunch for Easter Sunday, and thought this would certainly fit the bill. It is attractive and the service is good, but there was no notice paid to the holiday, and the buffet seemed a little uninspiredm though delicious. We asked fro bread a couple of times to go with omelets, but were told... More

My husband and I ate here for Sunday brunch. The hotel it is located at is gorgeous and the restaurant is beautiful as well. We were able to sit outside as the weather was nice. The service was great and the manager was kind to check on us and chat for a little. The lunch menu was pretty pricey, but... More
