Yummy light lunch!

Value spot for a light lunch. Try the daily lunch special. You will not be disappointed . Loved the large selection of soups, including 3 chilled and 3 hot soups. The ice cream with fresh fruit for dessert is a refreshing end to a yummy meal on a warm Charleston afternoon. We enjoyed our first... read more

Charming little hole-in-the-wall French restaurant in the historic French quarter. Good food with a neighborhood atmosphere.

This is a charming place with very decent food and fairly reasonable prices. You can have everything from a cheese plate two hands to the special of the day - sandwich and prosperous years. It's mostly countertop area with a few tables in the back room. All cities enjoyable and your choices available depending upon how friendly you feel with... More

We stopped in to this bistro for a quick lunch and enjoyed a very lovely meal. The cold gazpacho and the hot coconut curry lentil were absolutely spot on. The small cheese and pate sampler was a reasonable selection of meats and cheeses with some tasty bread. No baguette here! The house made tarragon Dijon mustard was a surprise hit.... More

A cozy little place, quick service, and decent food. The staff was friendly and it's worth stopping in.

Have been many times over the years for both lunch and dinner; I always enjoyed my meal. This week, I had jury duty and was able to eat lunch here twice. Both times the meals were excellent! First, had the O'salmon lunch special which included salmon on rye toast, goat cheese on rye toast, soup (I had the cold cucumber)... More

We went there on a recommendation for the street vendor selling water ice. It's a very small charming place. It's a french restuarant and we were there with our frnech exchange student. She said they had drinks and things that you can only get from France. THe food was good. They have a small breakfast menu that they serve all... More

I saw a review that said hidden gem, could not agree more. If you are a fan of turkey/ham sandwiches (open faced), this is your spot. Extremely affordable - quick service. I would get there a little before noon due to the size of the restaurant.

Our hotel concierge, as well as one of our tour guides, highly recommended this place. It's not beautiful on the outside, but our lunch there may have been the best meal we had in Charleston. And it's very inexpensive. They are famous for their lunch specials, and they are a real treat. The name used by the locals for this... More

We wanted a quick early evening bite so walked a block from our B & B The Rutledge Inn to this tiny French cafe. Ended up staying for a bottle of wine, delightful cheese selection, and excellent escargot. They had a young crowd with good service. Stop by to see their 1000 cranes overhead.
