It is quaint and a bit different. Love the cheese/pâté special plate that comes with a glass of wine. I try to eat lunch here every time I visit. It is a small place and you sit close to your neighbor, but that is part of what makes it cool.

Which is great! Referred by my walking tour guide, I enjoyed the food. It's very bistro-like in the offerings and atmosphere. Would go back again!

Its all about the food...and it is as French as it gets. Nothing pretentious here...just great food in reasonable portions and decent prices. It's different all the time but it seems to always be good. Ask the kids who work there questions and they will help guide you through the menu. If you are a Francophile you will appreciate the... We enjoyed the food. Have been there before and will go back again. But the two people we dealt with there could have been a lot more friendly and outgoing. They made it feel like you were a number instead of a person and seemed to be just going thru the motions.

Returned for yet another meal during the Spoleto Festival. Again the restaurant did not disappoint. The special was lamb and we enjoyed it very much. With good bread, a choice of soups, and a nice pour of house wine, this restaurant is a good place for a quick dinner. We enjoy meeting other folks while sitting at the counter, and... More

Finally after 5-6 years of walking past this small relatively unmarked little restaurant, I finally made it for lunch. Wow, what a charming little place. The wait staff is very welcoming and helpful in walking us thru the menu. The recommended meat and cheese platter was just what I was looking for. The Pate was delicious as was the other... More

Casual, "fast & French", open for breakfast, lunch and dinner every day but Sunday. Very reasonable, serving cheeses, fondue, soups and sandwiches, breakfast and dinner at very reasonable prices. Small and cozy, brisk business in a.m. and lunch, parking can be a challenge early in the day so be prepared to park and walk a little, but very pleasant. Not... More

My husband and I stopped here after our walking tour. Everything was fresh and reasonably priced. The baguettes were delightfully crisp. My soup was quite tasty. It's quite busy and not meant for lingering or quiet conversation, but worth a stop if you're nearby.

small, crowded, full of character, very French and just right for a lighter lunch in a city where it's easy to go overboard at dinner time.

Had a nice lunch today. Cute little place, nice staff. Would like to return next time we are in Charleston at lunchtime.
