Always amazing

David Shaw took excellent care of us....he made some amazing recommendations and we chose some, but, the 16 oz bone in veal chop is where I landed....great food, excellent service. I rank this restaurant and its service number one in Charleston.....see you very soon. My hubby had the filet and he... read more

My boyfriend and I went to Fulton Five at my request after a recommendation and seeing all the romantic restaurant hype around town. It could not have been more wrong abd us disappointed with our date night. First, there is no valet or parking, which is strange for charleston currently. That's fine, but warn people. We got there on time... More

My husband & I live in Charleston, & we along with 3 adult family members from out of town, had dinner at Fulton Five in early May. Years ago we went to Fulton Five 3 or 4 times a yr. with friends who considered it their favorite restaurant. But it slipped off our "go to" list, primarily due to premium... More

Fulton Five was recommended to us by a staff member at our hotel. We had an amazing evening. First off we did not have reservations but found two seats at the bar. Alicia was the hostess and bartender. She did a wonderful job, wanted to get us a table but we were enjoying our time and decided to have dinner... More

We opted for Fulton Five as it had been rated a 'top romantic restaurant', as well as it being literally less than 100 yards from our hotel. The food was good, but the overall atmosphere was somewhat cramped and noisy. The dining area is fairly small, but is packed with avid customers. They are certainly going for the 'authentic' Italian... More

I loved the spinach salad. The rest of the meal was just mediocre. My boyfriend hated all his food. The waitress was somewhat inattentive. But the most disappointing thing about our time here was viewing an elderly guest trying to get to her seat. This is a very small restaurant and there is a huge step inside the restaurant that... A local recommended this one. My husband and I had a date night and it was wonderful! Excellent food, service, and atmosphere. Very small, though, so make reservations early!

I was expecting extremely good food here - the food was good but very small portions. I can put their Italian dishes up against many others I have had and not sure they would win. Additionally, the seats are on top of each other. We literally had a couple sit next to us (6 inches from me) when other tables... More

We got excited about having dinner at the Fulton Five after looking in the window on Christmas Eve on our way back from dinner at another restaurant. It looked so fun and fancy and delicious. When we visited Charleston several months later, we made early reservations and got dressed up a bit -- my husband wore a tie and sportcoat... More

We have visited Charleston for a week at a time during the Spoleto Festival 2012, 2013, and this year. Each year we have dined at Fulton Five and not been disappointed. We returned this year--on the spur of the moment late at night without a reservation after leaving a less than thrilling dance performance--and once again enjoyed a delicious dinner.... More
