Unique cocktails and flavor combinations

Started off with the Hummingbird cocktail; very refreshing combination of Cathead honeysuckle vodka (never heard of this before so had to try) with cucumber agave nectar and champagne. Delish. Since peaches are in season had to have their nightly special, the peach and arugula salad. Sounds so... read more

Started off with the Hummingbird cocktail; very refreshing combination of Cathead honeysuckle vodka (never heard of this before so had to try) with cucumber agave nectar and champagne. Delish. Since peaches are in season had to have their nightly special, the peach and arugula salad. Sounds so plain but was far from it! I'm not a big swordfish fan but... More

My friend and I are on the quest for the best burger in Charleston. Every Wednesday we try a different place known for their burgers. This one was okay. I ordered my mushroom burger medium and it came out well done. We were not aware that the burgers did not come with fries so we ordered some. Flavor of my... More

The service was incredible! I ordered the crisp wasabi tuna and can say it is one of my all-time favorite meals! Absolute perfection! The GranMa souffle was also exceptional. I even enjoyed the wine selection suggested by the waiter. I had never heard of that variety and was pleasantly surprised to go outside the box.

I was entertaining some friends from out of town in May! I wanted to take them for some nice Charleston fine dining. The experience was great, starting when we got in there. The selection of food was wonderful, and there was great beer. We all had a great time, and between the four of us, it was very reasonable!! I... More

We went with a group of 7. It didn't feel like the AC was working. We were all very uncomfortable. By the time dinner was done, dessert sounded good but we let to go elsewhere because it was too hot to eat more. My hubby and I had Chateaubriand. The steak was amazing. We ordered the spoon bread that was... More

We have been to Cypress at least 4 times over the past few years mainly for the Crispy Wasabi Tuna. Our most recent visit was disappointing because the service was so underwhelming. Two of our party of 7 ordered the Caesar salad (which is prepared table side). The other salads were brought out as those with the Caesar salad were... More

Great restaurant, but the martinis are amazing, as are the tuna oysters: Sashimi Tuna & Oysters Beausoleil oysters green tomato-wasabi cocktail, horseradish-lemon mignonette - not cheap but worth it!

Spectacular all the way around! Chateaubriand is to die for. Came about 15 minutes early and they easily accommodated us. Great staff. Will definitely return next time we are in town.

Had dinner with a customer and peers here recently. This is a very nice restaurant in a town full of very nice restaurants. You need to add this to your "must try" list. The food was excellent, and the service even better. The place is very nice - good for both business and family dinners. I had the Washabi Tuna... More

My favorite place for a few appetizers and a glass of wine or a drink is the second floor of Cypress. When you enter , walk up the stairs to the right and get the table infront of the window to your left at the top of the stairs. You can look out over Charleston while enjoying your wine and... More
