We went to Cypress on this past Saturday night for my wife's birthday. They recognized her as soon as we sat down. The staff was very polished. The manager, who I knew personally came over and was very accommodating. We had one of the special cocktails that were on their list and looked at the wine list via iPad. We... More

Charleston is one of the best food cities in the US and when you are consistently named in the 5 to 10 restaurants in the city, you are doing something right. I don't believe I have ever ordered something that was not fantastic. The wait staff has always been great and atmosphere is very comfortable and relaxing You do pay... More

Service and the quality of food are exceptional contrary to one of its sister restaurants, Blossom. Make reservations in advance. Although not required, I recommend slacks and a polo shirt for me.

We loved everything about it. We were there July 20, 2013 for our Wedding dinner and returned today for our 1st anniversary. Both times it was AMAZING!!! Oysters and tuna app - I'm still drooling over. Cesar salad was the best ever. They make the dressing at the table and use all authentic ingredients - anchovies, raw egg - to... More

We are so glad that we followed the recommendation from our tour guide at Charleston Pirate Tours to eat at Cypress. Service was impeccable and the food was great. Between our group, we sampled several seafood dishes and a steak. The charcuterie app was fabulous. After dinner, we had a couple of drinks in the upstairs bar. Because this was... More

My friend and I stopped in to Cypress for drinks one evening before dinner. We ordered very dirty, very dry vodka martinis. They were very good. If you're looking for a place to have drinks before dinner, Cypress is a good bar to go to. It's quiet and intimate and I would recommend it for drinks. We did not eat... More

What a delightful restaurant. This was our first time at Cypress and we couldn't have been happier with the ambiance, the service and the food. I had a delicious chicken dish and my husband had a fantastic pork chop with peanuts on it. The almond crusted fried brie salad was marvelous. The service was exceptional and the decor is conducive... More

Oh my gosh, we went everywhere in Charleston and luckily on our last night our concierge suggested Cypress. It had the coolest bar. The spreadable salami was amazing. We are foodies, so we are a bit picky and this place blew us away!! Our entrees were the Korean ribs (amazing) and my husband had some kind of fish that he... More

There are so many truly fine restaurants in Charleston it can be hard to pick when we make our annual visit but we are never disappointed with Cypress (or for that matter the adjacent sister restaurants - Blossom and Magnolias). We love the classic Low Country style of several of the South's best restaurants that you can find in Charleston... More

We hadn't been to Cypress in a while and, we will not let so much time pass before we come back again. This restaurant defines what fine dining should be in Charleston. The atmosphere exudes class without being too stuffy. We had a group of six and, unlike some other supposedly great restaurants in the area, we could actually converse... More
