It was wonderful from the moment that we walked through the door. The service alone would be reason enough to eat here again, but there is also excellent food and live entertainment! There were 5 courses the night we ate here, you choose your main course the rest are already decided. It was a nice variety of food and you... more

"OK" is how I'd describe this experience. From the food to the singing, it just felt like the family wasn't into it. All courses were adequately prepared, good quality foods. Robert's singing was so-so, and I mean in the effort he put into the performance. The best part of the experience was the superlative service we received throughout the meal-... more

We have been wanting to eat here for several years but we live more than an hour from Charleston and didn't want to drive home after so much wine. We finally ate there on Saturday evening and spent the night in Charleston. Robert's restauarant is unique. It is like going to a dinner party where the host can sing. On... more

Flowing wine with each course. Both white and red. And the best part, the owner Robert, who I believe was the chef and now has passed it down to his... more

The fun had by our group of 35 was possible because of Robert's singing. Although Robert seemed very full of himself, he knew the tunes that would please this crowd: Broadway, Opera and Neopolitan love songs. Were they corny? Yes but in a good way. Realizing it is difficult to feed this many people at once, I must say the... more

From the moment we entered, the staff was very accomodating and friendly. Since it was my mom's birthday and they asked in advance when I made the reservation, the top of our menu said "Happy Birthday Barbara!". As each course (5) arrived, it tasted better than the last one...each one was awesome! The Chef uses very different ingridents to create... more

Roberts is a terrific special occasion restaurant. The food and wine are great, but it is the ambience and company of fellow diners that make for a special evening. The is an atmosphere of excitement when entering Roberts that is different than other restaurants. I believe this is because nearly everyone there is celebrating a special event. I took my... more
