It's hard to get a bad meal in Charleston, so the food was not bad. But really, the ambience? No tablecloths, stark lighting, and we were one of only three or four couples in the restaurant that night....not good. We were disappointed. And it was very expensive (200.00 for two including wine). We would not go back.

Having been sadly disappointed by other so called top restaurants we had eaten in all week in Charleston, it was with some trepidation we arrived for our reservation at Fish. To our great relief we found a sophisticated yet relaxing atmosphere with ambient lighting and chilled out music. The service was efficient, friendly and unobtrusive. The wine selection provided good... More

I went to Fish last Friday night with 6 other people. We had early reservations and were seated immediately upon arrival. We were given a round top in the center of the beautifully decorated dinning room. Silky curtains drape the ceiling and silver and glass sparkle throughout. I started with an Orient Express from the drink menu. It was fantastic.... More

From the reviews, we had high hopes for a memorable meal at Fish. Sadly, the only thing memorable about our experience was the final tally of our bill. Overpriced but not especially significant wines, fresh but very small portions of the catch of the day and seasonings that overpowered the seafood on the lobster roll. That said, the surroundings were... More

What a great find. Charleston is a great food town and this just proves it. It is definitely worth going outside the central tourist area of Charleston to the more 'real' areas to find this wonderful, friendly restaurant. Our food was outstanding. The 'dim sum' was innovative and flavorful. Fish is part of the Sustainable Seafood Initiative, which shows how... More

Fish is an amazing place to eat. They have a French Master Chef and the food was just amazing. The Trout was so succulent and The Lobster Roll just dreamy. This had such a great environment for our romantic dinner, and we want to eat here again, when we visit Charleston again we be stopping by once again for some... More

First time at Fish and all 3 of us were happy campers. French/Asian fusion means flavor packed--carefully prepared dishes---everyone loved everything that was ordered. Try it you will like it!

We ate at Fish tonight and I can't say enough about how much we enjoyed it. The food was delicious and the service outstanding. I had the trout which was one of the best dishes I have had anywhere. If you are in Charleston I would definitely recommend it. The flavor combination was terrific. Also enjoyed the selections of wines.

Nine of us went to Fish tonite gathering for a small college reunion. The waiter, Rishad, was friendly and helpful. As a group we had the dim sum small plates , chopped salad, trout, short ribs, calamari- everyone felt that the food was fresh and delectable. Acoustics were great and a good time was had by all. This is the second time we have eaten here. We chose to have the rehearsal dinner for 77 at Fish after trying their choices first. We were very happy that we did. The Vermillion Snapper and Roasted Farm Chicken were amazing dishes. The desserts were equally amazing. The care and attention given to us by staff was commendable, especially by... More
