Great waiter, helped us Midwesterners out a bit. Drinks were very good. Brought us some hush puppies too. I had the shrimp/sausage/mushrooms/scallions and gravy.. over grits, what? Grits. It was excellent. We also got the Mahi-mahi, also good. Got the Key Lime pie and it was not up to the rest of the meal.

We wanted some good seafood and we got it. The low country boil was enough to share with the crab legs and mussels being very good, the shrimp a little chewy, the corn on the cob overcooked (but in fairness I haven't found a restaurant that doesn't overcook it), and the potatoes tasty. The problem was the poor service. Our... More

We ate here looking for a good seafood place on our last night in Charleston. The food was good, the service seemed a bit tired, and inattentive. I had the Legs and Tails, (shell on shrimp and snow crab legs). The grits were very good, the seafood was good. My wife had a alfredo pasta with scallops, mahi and shrimp...it... More

Don't eat anything that is fried there. Very greasy and soggy. Fried green tomatoes were mushy. Calamari was very chewy and tasteless. However, the crab was good. That is the only thing I can say I enjoyed. Even the hush puppies were overcooked. The service wasn't the greatest. Will not go back.

For our vacation this was probable the worst food, but it wasn't bad. The view was great. They have both indoor and outdoor seating on the water. Hush puppies had a good flavor but were very greasy. Hubby had a combo platter with fried scallops (the best item of the meal), flounder with no taste and mushy, soggy shrimp, and... More

Service couldn't have been better, Laura (sp) went above and beyond! Food was great, I had grilled shrimp and a crab cake, both were so good! My husband had the captains platter and then key lime pie, plates were cleaned which is a good sign. Atmosphere was nice overlooking the river. Will go back again soon!

We ate here in early September, based on the good reviews. We were not impressed with the food or service. It was not worth the trip from Kiawah Island from our condo. It was only a small step above a good chain restaurant. Chez Fish, the Fat Hen, and the Wild Olive are much better choices.

OMG I can not say enough good things about their seafood- we had steamed seasoned large grade shrimp with a cluster of crab legs. The crab legs were so big we had to ask out waiter if they were king crab or snow crab and they were snow crab but so full of meat- I would def recommend this place... More

Let me say that if it had not been raining the outside seating would have been amazing!! The view would have said it all. That said we were stuck inside where the visual atmosphere was only average. The food was excellent and the low country boil had some of the best shrimp I have ever tasted.

We loved this restaurant! Charleston is not known for "economical" dinners but this fell perfect for our budget. We enjoyed the low country boil, with the king crab legs. It was huge! We needed to split it. And we did just that...two days later! Sunset on the ICW, yummy hush puppies & great fresh seafood. We will be back!
