We went to Hank's with a group of 5. All had a great seafood experience. The sauces and presentations were superb. The service impeccable. What you would expect for the prices.

Make sure you make reservations! The food here is fabulous and the specialty cocktails are delicious. This is a do not miss restaurant if you love perfectly prepared seafood.

We came in much later than we planned thanks to weather in Chicago so the folks we were meeting at Hanks had already finished their meal & desert. We've been to Hank's a few times and have never been disappointed. Recently a local tour guide recommended Hank's as the top restaurant in Charleston! Friends went with us and it was their first Charleston visit. They enjoyed Hank's as much as we did and we will be back!

Not much change to menu in the the 10 years we've been coming. It can get a bit loud on weekends, actually a bit quieter at the bar.

On our recent trip to Savannah and Charleston, we did have some good seafood. However, nothing I would rate as outstanding until we ate at Hank's. I chose the she crab soup and a special salad of the night. Both great choices. My husband had the grilled seafood platter. He also was very pleased with his selection.
