The best shrimp and grits Charleston. Comparable to some of the best restaurants in Charleston- including SNOB, Fish, Muse... etc. We couldn't have been more pleased with the service, the food, and the drink specials. This is a GEM on James Island!

My friend raved about this place. I didn't have any expectation so I wasn't too disappointed, just irritated by the end of the evening. I don't eat anything from a "raw bar" in a strip mall, my issue I admit. The sign out front advertised "1/2 price burger night". Hmmm… So we started with the crab dip. It was a... More

We've only eaten burgers here, but my-oh-my are they good! We keep thinking we'll try something else, but just haven't - yet. And, FINALLY a restaurant that offers the option to order something other than just french fries, sweet potato fries or chips with a burger or sandwich. Their asparagus is delicious! They have specials everyday, too - you'll want... More

Went for appetizers and made a meal of it. Oysters on the half shell were good-sized and fresh. 1/2 price during happy hour, which runs until 8pm during the week. The hot pimento cheese dip was an interesting choice. Like con queso, but with a different taste. All-you-can-eat crab legs for only $29 was a deal I couldn't pass up.... More

ok - it's in a publix strip mall - so ambience it's not. But for $12 I got a huge piece of Mahi, pineapple salsa, and asparagus. It was seriously - as good as Mahi as I've ever had. I also had the crab soup - pretty good. It's not a - really nice, lux place - it's just plain,... More

My absolute favorite place to have Sunday Brunch! There are so many things to choose from on the menu that I have a hard time deciding what to order!

This was our first trip to this restaurant, we saw that it had some good ratings on some different site. We stopped in and it was as good as the ratings had reviewed it. We had the oysters appetizer in the shrimp and crab quesadilla. They were both incredible. We also had the chicken crab provolone on a pretzel bun... More

Salty Waters Rawbar & Grill is our "new" favorite place for brunch! The food is exceptional but hey...the owner is a graduate of Johnson & Wales University! There was a recent restaurant fire in downtown Charleston and the owners offered a free three course meal to the employes that lost their jobs because of that fire!

The food was pretty good bar type food. We didn't get seafood. The service was outstanding, but we were the only ones there when we left at 230pm. There 3 others when we got there. I didn't properly read the menu and we ended up with 6$ plus tax for a tea and soft drinks. It would have been cheaper... More
