Unique menu, great food.

Almost everything on the menu is sourced locally. There were many unique items on the menu which is changed daily. The food was terrific, and the service equaled it.

A large group of us were at Macintosh for brunch and everyone had something new and different! My chicken and waffles were superb. My daughter had rabbit hash. Every dish offered was different and special. They offer three different kinds of bloody Mary's and my mimosa was great.

There is a lot of hype around this restaurant and its 3 time James Beard chef. Our meals and service deserve the accolades. Sean, our waiter was knowledgeable and enthusiastic about the food. We had the pork shoulder confit and tilefish, both prepared with care and perfectly seasoned. The Mac-Hattan cocktail stayed true to its root with a twist. Crowning... More

ew had a first rate experience from start to finish. We had a reservation and it was very busy but we were still seated immediately. We shared a drink; the Manhattan was wonderful, and an appetizer and each had an entree.....the food was INCREDIBLE! The waiter helped us pick the wine as well and it paired perfectly with our food.... More

My friends and i enjoyed a lovely evening at The MacIntosh on Halloween. The atmosphere of this fine restaurant is inviting, dark and cozy. Staff (servers and hosts) were present and attentive without being annoying. The food was very good. The menu is creative (grouper fish balls as an appetizer and bone marrow bread pudding as a savory side, for... More

My wife and I enjoyed our dinner here. We shared an appetizer of pasta with rabbit. For the main course my wife had the beef deckle. It was a super tender, delicious and nicely cooked piece of meat with good sides. I had the duck breast. It was a large piece of nicely cooked duck with good sides. All the... More

I met several business associates for dinner at The Macintosh recently. The place has a very nice rustic atmosphere and is one of several restaurants that have anchored themselves in the trendy upper King Street area. This is upscale dining so be prepared when it comes to the check. Their menu is somewhat unique, offering a mix if seafood, pork,... More

First I need to state that we were at The McIntosh in the morning on a culinary tour and met the chef who showed us the kitchen and spoke about some dishes on the menu- which does change every day. That night my wife had the deckel steak which was new to us, but was tendy and tasty. I went... More

the macintosh provides a limited menu of high priced trendy selections. You pay a lot for what the chef considers to be high end combinations of flavors. The basic environment gives the diner the distinct feeling that you are lucky that The Macintosh has allowed you to eat there. Yup, they know what good food is so sit down, shut... More

They gave me an almost raw burger and I sent it back. They cooked the same burger to well done They did ask if I wanted anything else, I did not need a triple looser meal tonight The waiter was very sharp but the kitchen needs to undergo a transition and learn to cook. If you don't care how the... More
