Great dinner.

Great dinner! Great service! Triggerfish entrée was delish! Pork entrée was amazing. Dessert were great as well. Sat in the back room with two bachelorette parties so it was a bit loud back there.

HOLY COW. WHY DO I LIVE IN NY? I NEED TO MOVE TO CHARLESTON, SC. They do not call it the best breakfast of the world for no reason! I started my 10:30 AM reservation off with the Poutine Fries which were AMAZING (but you could def do without it for brunch). Flooded with gravy and cheese, the fries were... More

On the recommendation of an old friend, we decided to try this great restaurant in downtown Charleston. We were not disappointed. The food and the service are top notch. Our waitress was not only delightful but had an incredible knowledge of wine. She is preparing for her second level sommelier exam and shared freely her knowledge of the wine list.... More

Enjoyed a first rate dinner at this King St. restaurant last week. Our server, Lauren, was very polite and knowledgeable. She accurately answered each question with a smile. Salad course was creative and very fresh. Will definitely be back.

We ate here on a Sunday night, service was excellent, nice atmosphere even though this evening it was not very busy. Loved the gnoci appetizer and the rabbit was also tasty. We had Trigger fish and steak for our respective main courses, and it was well prepared. The orange cake could have been a little more moist, but overall an... More

We went during Restaurant Week, so our specific dishes don't seem to be on the general menu, but everything was excellent, including the wine. They have a great selection, and you can trust that all of the dishes (whatever you read in the description) are very well thought-out and tasty. If the Butcher's Plate is offered, get it. I know,... We were treated excellently at this wonderful establishment. The food was amazing, service was excellent and friendly - our only mistake was not saving room for dessert. The house brought us some to try anyway, and boy, did we wish we had room for more! The brownie ice cream is out of this world!

We tried The Macintosh for dinner this past Sunday. I'm mad I hadn't eaten there before! The food was incredible, the space was relaxed and ambient, and the serice was outstanding. We will be back!!!

I recently had my first experience at the Macintosh. I was surprised that the day's menu was so small. There were only about eight entrees and three sides. Prices ranged from an $18 hamburger to a $40 steak. I tried one of the two fish, the tile fish. It was dry but otherwise good. The real disappointment was the $8... More

There are so many great restaurants in Charleston, but we kept hearing great news about The Macintosh. Luckily, we nabbed dinner reservations for restaurant week. They never once rushed us to try to move tables. The wait staff were exceptionally knowledgeable about the menu and offered many suggestions and explanations of ingredients. Deciding on what to eat was tough since... More
