Had a couple of cocktails and apps. The seafood charcuterie was very good and the first time I had seen that on a menu. Fun place. We enjoyed our dinner here.

Fantastic meal at Macintosh! Loves the seafood charcuterie and the swordfish! Everything was so well balanced! The manhattan on tap was delicious. I have to find chocolate bitters now!

This is a MUST when you visit Charleston. We went for brunch (party of 4) and each of us were raving about our meals that we decided to go back for dinner on Friday. For brunch I had the Grilled Spicy Chorizo with a Dill Bloody Mary. The Chorizo dish was spectacular - I'm still thinking about it! The Dill... More

For a town this size, Charleston has far more than its fair share of great restaurants. This is one of them. To best describe it, it is the kind of place where even items on the menu that don't sound good are actually amazing! Case in point: the carrots...I ate one just to see what they tasted like...then another, and... More

Among the best of he best. Definitely more worthy of your dinner dollars that the biggest / famous name restaurants there in town. You will NOT be disappointed.

We visited this restaurant for the first time upon the recommendation of a server at one of our favorite Charleston restaurants. The food and the service were extraordinary. We started with a an appetizer of truffled frites - which were delicious; hard to explain, but not to be missed. The menu changes each day - my husband had quail with... More

I popped in here for a late dinner this evening and was blown away by one of the nicest burgers I've ever had! The burger was perfectly sized, not small nor was it an enormous unmanageable stack, it was just right! The beef had a beautiful smokey taste to it and was cooked to order. The burger also featured bacon,... More

We all loved our meals at The MacIntosh last week - terrific "deckle" (the outside of the ribeye cooked and seasoned to perfection) was the star of the evening, but the Low Country flavors throughout were sensational. We sat at a booth across from the lively bar scene - so much fun! We would go back in a heartbeat.

I came across the Bacon Happy Hour in my Charleston research and we decided to give it a shot. While it was a little further away than my husband liked after we'd been walking all day, the apps at the Bacon Happy Hour were well worth it. Great apps, great drinks and a perfect atmosphere!
