Stopped in at the Belgian Gelato while we were in Charleston in October. The coffee and other drinks were great. We took them to the waterfront to swing on one of the swings there. The staff is great. They were raising money for university. Keep up the good work guys.

I was on my way to Waterfront Park to take a couple of photos for a friend. I stpped in with my bored daughter as I had promised here a hot chocolate. The hot chocolates were there, of course, along with a variety of gelatos, coffees, etc. One of the items that I didn't know about was a "Toasti", which... More

We enjoyed coffee and gelato twiice during a Thanksgiving weekend stay. Service was great. Gelato was creamy, coffee steamy and hot, and waffles were fresh and melt-in-the-mouth. Enjoy!!

Starbucks had a line out the door, so we decided to stop for some local coffee. This little place only has a couple of stools, but the coffee and waffle we had were excellent! Go for the local flavor!

Dinner at Magnolias and a small scoop of gelato for dessert. There were a variety of ways to order the gelato or ice but a single scoop of lemon ice was perfect. I tried some of Dan's chocolate peppermint...refreshing!

Thank you for taking the time to review Belgian Gelato and highlighting the fact that gelato and sorbet are in fact 'lighter' dessert choices. All the best! More

A bit off the beaten path, but having spent several weeks in Italy were curious if Belgian Gelato were different. And we were not disappointed. The name comes from the fact that the owners are from Belgium and use Belgian chocolate...but don't miss the salted caramel. Great treat!

That is great to hear Jan H! And yes we are in fact from Belgium and many of our signature flavors are based on Belgian Chocolates. More

We stop at Belgian Gelato almost every time we visit downtown Charleston. This last Sunday we noticed something new. During the winter time they serve so-called Toasties. These are toasted ham and or cheese sandwiches and they are delicious. We are originally from the Netherlands and this is the real deal. For $3 dollars they are great deal too. We... More

I have been working with Belgian Gelato for about a year now and normally I am a tough critic; however, I know quality when I see it. I cannot kid how many times I have served a guest and their response was, "I have been to many places with gelato, but this is the absolute best I have ever tasted."... More
