My husband and I have been visiting Michelangelo's every other month or so for several years. Had a bad meal the first time, but after we tested out the menu a little more, it became one of our favorite spots. I love the house salad with fresh mozzarella and the mozzarella sticks were to die for. My husband found that... More

I've been 3 times. My first 2 experiences were in 2006 or so when the restaurant first opened. I was so excited to have a nice Italian restaurant nearby. Was I ever disappointed! The chicken alfredo was bland, my friends spaghetti was soupy and tasteless. We chalked it up to the restaurant was new, kitchen staff was new, etc. etc.... More

We go once a month or so and love it. Two people can eat well for under 20-25 $ with tip. Its worth a trip to see for yourself. The place has terrific desserts and some times we will eat at another place and get dessert there. This is my second review of MK but I feel as though I... More

We stopped here on a Wednesday night and apparently were the first customers. Only two other groups came in the entire time we were there, which unfortunately was a very long time on the most uncomfortable seats. It took an HOUR to get our food. I could have cooked the meal faster! My bottom ached by the time we left...... More

For what little you have to pay, this place is maybe the best dollar for dollar value of any place in Charleston. If you are staying in West Ashley or going out to the gardens and plantations you should really stop. Come hungry, the postions are ample and great.

We tried this restaurant because it was close to our hotel and we like spaghetti. The restaurant had a good atmosphere. The food was great! Some of us ate spaghetti and some ate lasagna but we all loved it. We will definitely go back!

I can't believe the other reviews unless this is a new owner since last month. We have tried several times and it is ALWAYS empty... mainly because the food is sooooo ordinary and bland. This is NOT italian food. No spices, no flavor, no idea of what the recipes are for what they are passing off as Italian recipes. ---... More
