My husband is from NJ and we all go there frequently to visit family, so we know the difference between real bagels and the round bread they have everywhere else. These were real bagels, including my daughter's favorite salt bagels (with pretzel-style salt on the outside) and my husband's favorite everything bagels. They were fresh & tasty even as we... More

I visited one morning for a quick breakfast with my friend. We were visiting Charleston from NY for the week. We were about to head on a tour and needed something quick so we dropped at The Bagel Shop. There were two people sitting eating so we knew we had plenty of time , however the young man at the... Who would have thought you could get a good bagel and a smear in Charleston. Not me, but there it was. They also had good breakfast sandwiches, and a good chicken salad sandwich for lunch.

We stopped here on Sunday morning we left Charleston! Wish we had found this gem 4 days ago! Very delicious egg, bacon ,cheese on multigrain bagel!! We stayed at Doubletree Hilton on Church and Market! Would be a nice walk to King Street and George!! Or Call The Bike Taxi to get there!!We will be back!!!

Okay, so maybe Charleston isn't Brooklyn (which is probably a good thing), but the bagels at this place are pretty darn good nevertheless, not fake round pieces of bread like at so many places, but yummy doughy inside with nice skins on them, so chewy that, well, they might rip the caps and crowns right off of your teeth. Now,... More

We stopped here during a recent visit to Charleston and were very satisfied when we left. We got bagel sandwiches that, as other reviewers have said, were stuffed to the brim with egg and cheese (we didn't get any meat). The staff were friendly and hardworking. It was very busy in there because it was a Sunday morning, but the... More

Stopped here for breakfast one morning and very much enjoyed our bagel sandwiches. They were good sized bagels with plenty of meat and egg/cheese.

Great for a morning bagel or quick breakfast. Breakfast for three of us was under $20! Awesome!! (Especially since our other breakfasts were over $40 for traditional, sit down breakfasts.) Easy location, tasty food, great service. Cheery and efficient staff! Highly Recommended.

We went here and was surprised by how delicious the bagels were. The taste was very similar to NY, in fact I actually liked these better than the ones I get back in NY as they were a little softer and easier to choose. Between an omelette and bagel and a large coffee and hot cocoa the bill came to... More
