Homemade Soups, Salads and Sandwiches made fresh when ordered. There is also Shrimp and beer. The atmostphere is very upbeat and the art by locals changes the decor often. There is outside seating and free delivery to certain areas. This place will not disappoint you but itsnt very easy to get too. I loved it anyway. It's a secret for... More

This is a hole in the wall that my husband and I accidentally stumbled upon our first night in Charleston, but we were so happy we did!! We were tired from driving all day and wanted a casual meal with a drink. Chucktown Tavern was exactly what we were looking for...I had a blue cheese stuffed burger, and my husband... More

After a long day of walking around town, we made our way to this place. It wasn't very noticeable in comparison to some of the other restaurants in the area. Ordered just a sandwich--but I asked for mayo and tomatoes only. I got lots and lots of lettuce when I got my sandwich. It was ok, nothing to brag about... More

Nice little friendly neighborhood type of place, not too bad on the pocket, with a little unexpected surprise from the kitchen. I first believed we'd be using Doggie Bags and all, but the food was actually good enough (and abundant) for us to gorge ourselves right there. The customers AND STAFF, were the GREATEST... The waited on us hand and... More

We stopped by for breakfast - drawn in by the sign that said "Best Bloody Mary's in Town"....just fact, not hype. The Bloody's were fabulous and Thime said if the grits were not the best he would "call himself silly". No need - the grits were like mousse, the eggs cooked to perfection and the thick slab smoked bacon a... More

A great local, friendly pub with excellent food and prices. Have visited here a number of times and each time had a fine meal and especially great and friendly service. Everybody including staff and other diners were having a good time.

While visiting in Charleston, my friend and I dropped into this restaurant for just a snack and a drink. We ordered an appetizer (steak bites) and it was absolutely delicious. We dedided to try a dessert because our appetizer had been so good. We had bread pudding that was absolutely out of this world. Needless to say, we were expecting... More
