This is nothing more than a local college hang out serving frozen drinks rather that beer. If your in your early 20's and want to drink to excess this is the place for you.
I've been to a few Wet Willies to include the original in Savannah. I love the daiquiri drinks and my favorite is a Call a Cab! If you have never been to one you need to! The one on Bourbon St in New Orleans as well.
Conveniently located, pretty big inside. There's a cool little lounge I the back with leather couches and projector tv's. Food was fresh and delicious. Drinks were as usual. Had a good time here.
Wet Willie's reminded me of being in college again. Strong sugary drinks and a lot of fun. There was karaoke there when we went, and we met some very fun people to sing and drink with.
We went here while bar hopping for a girls weekend. I had the call-a-cab. It was pretty strong and fruity. I am not a fan of girly drinks so was unable to finish. I did have a thin mint shot and it was sooo good. They had a live band that was really good as well.
No real problems here, just average result. The strawberry daiquiri's were great, the nachos were not so good. But as our server said when I asked for a cold beer...' we are a daiquiri bar, that's what we do'... it was a nice atmosphere to put our feet up for a few minutes and have a cold drink.
My husband and I went here the other day and it was great. For one it was like 105 outside it felt so good to get out of the heat. The staff was friendly and outgoing. Nice place to get a couple of drinks and have lunch or dinner. I had the the chocolate thunder it is a frozen drink... More
Love this bar. During a hot summer day a slushi is just what the doctor ordered. This place has slushis with alcohol. An adults play land. The supermand and call a cab is the way to go. I normally stop by at least once if I'm downtown to get that pick me up that I need.
