Visitors to Historic Downtown Charleston who want to cool down from the low country heat should head to Wet Willie's, a bar that serves up 20 different frozen mixed drinks. As soon as you walk in the door you know that Wet Willie's isn't your typical establishment with a few blenders behind the bar. Wet Willie's features permanent frozen drink machines installed in a line behind the bar in rainbow of colors mixing up the bright drinks. It's like 20 giant Slurpee machines, except these machine are geared for adults. There is a non-alcohol "Weak Willie," for kids or those abstaining. The sugar-free Call a Cab and "Naked Willie" are sugar-free and carb-free and can also be mixed with any other flavors to any degree. You call it.

Cool off & chill out at Wet Willie's!

Went here twice during Memorial Day weekend. Y'all know it gets hot and humid in Charleston -- even in the month of May. Go here and cool off with a frozen concoction. Our faves were the Mudslide, Banana Split, Pina Colada, and Strawberry. So delicious!

Love the Margaritas; and lay back atmosphere. Located next to Amen they are in the heart of the Historic Market Street area. They also have a location in Savannah, GA

We had lunch here during our trip to Charleston. Bar/restaurant atmosphere. The food was good...sandwiches and fries and appetizers. Our server was very nice and fun and I had an amazing frozen Pina Colada! Delicious! I would definitely return here on another trip to Charleston.

The bartender was a little rude when we first walked in. They had to restart their computers for some reason when we walked in so they wouldn't serve us. We sat down and a couple minutes later everything was up an running. The chocolate thunder tasted like a melted fudgecicle. I don't recommend the "Call a Taxi". It tasted like... More

What can I say....the drinks are yummy with a huge variety. A drink for everyone even a non-alcoholic one. Nachos were good and the lemon pepper wings were some of the best I have ever had!!!

Imagine going into 7/11 and having, not just four or five choices of a slurpee, but 20! Woah! Now imagine a whole bunch of grain alcohol dumped into the slurpee machines. Okay, I know what you're thinking....and the answer is no. Unfortunately, they do not have Coke flavored options. But this place is fun to go to if your goal... More

Wet Willie's was such an amazing time. The bartender was awesome, and the display of the slushies was a fun way to see everything. We didn't go for food.. since it's a slushie bar. There was a guy playing the guitar for an hour and taking request that made the late night atmosphere even more fun. They also put on... More

Wet Willie's is simply adult slushy heaven! Due to the easy drinking method, you really cannot tell how much alcohol you have had. There are slushy flavors galore, you can mix them to create more. Go hear if you want to drink to get drunk.
