We came across this as we were very hungry and after looking at reviews for some other places in the area decided to give this a try. The server was very laid back and friendy. Its not a quick place to grab a bite, they took some time but nothing excessive. The food was decent and not too expensive and... More

We were tired, thirst and hungry, but we should have given this place a miss. They are pretending to be a cool coffee shop with no substance. They served us sandwiches on very stale bread, and they even toasted it to cover it up....we did not even ask for toasted sandwiches. I noticed that the people at the next table,... More

East Bay Meeting House is a true gem! The food is delicious and the full service bar offers everything you could want. Staff is friendly, knowledgeable, and keep us coming back time and again. Come. Sit. Enjoy! You will be so glad you did!

Great little coffee house or place to meet for a drink. However, the food choices were not meant for a full dinner. Our server took the order for half the table and didn't come back until time to deliver the food. Frustrating experience.

I have only had one experience here, but after all of the other great reviews, I really expected something better. Timing is everything. I arrived this afternoon in Charleston alone for business, hungry, and with not enough time to really take in any of the history, so what better to do but eat and drink in this town. By 7pm... More

I came across this little gem as I was searching for a place to rest and drink before dinner. The tomato soup was delicious and the pita and spinach dip with the cold beer hit the spot. The location is great for people watching and although we sat at the table, the bar looked very inviting. I hope to return... More

Great little spot. It was nice to get out of the rain and find a cozy place like this. Didn't get to try the food but the Irish coffee was delicious!

Fell into this cute little bistro | bar on a beautiful day walking around historic Charleston and the small salmon plate matched the glass of pinot well. Great atmosphere.

Stumbled upon this place on my first night in Charleston. Small and quaint. Seems like a nice place to visit for a drink and relax. Good location.

Just finished a walking tour of Charleston. They are having a cold spell. I stopped in for tea. The tea was organic. I ordered the soup and a club sandwich. The clam chowder was excellent. The club was ok, fresh tomatoes, lettuce. The bread was toasted but you could tell it was stale. Service was nice.
