Tapas, drinks, dessert

You can't go wrong having appetizers and drinks at the little corner cafe. The owner was there and very kind with great suggestions for top shelf drinks and desserts. Go early and miss the crowd.

That title might be a little confusing. WE were seated for breakfast right in front of double doors that opened right onto the sidewalk. It gave great views of the street activity. We ordered mimosas, quiche and the french toast stratta. The drink was good. The french toast was made from a buttery croissant. The quiche was made of portobello mushrooms... More

The East Bay Meeting House Bar and Café is on popular East Bay Street in the French Quarter in Charleston. It is situated on a corner among many other trendier places on the street but do not deprive yourself of the historical, quaint, and delightful treat of stopping in at the East Bay Meeting House. They have some great selections... More

I enjoyed the quiet ambience of this slice of restaurant. They serve a nice choice of wines. As a solo traveler, I enjoy reading in a lovely quiet place and enjoying people watching.

We almost walked past this nice little bar on an evening out in Charleston. After deciding to call in for a couple of drinks before heading home we were glad we stopped by. It was very quiet when we arrived but the place had an upmarket contempory feel to it. The owner made us feel very welcome and spoke with... More

The owner is from Cairo and brings a vibe something akin to a French bistro and Rick's Café, Service and food excellent Fun a it is about 2/3rds local and the rest tourist. Great spot to get inside scoop on what is happening in town

We regularly visit Charleston for the Spoleto Festival. Ever since we discovered East Bay Meeting House a few years back, we've made it a regular stopping point during our visit, more than once each time. Wonderful food and a very friendly atmosphere keep bringing us back (so far three times this trip, at least once more to go). In our... More

This is a charming bar/cafe which we have visited on a previous trip to Charleston. Yesterday we had a very enjoyable lunch and this morning an equally enjoyable breakfast . So when we wanted a late afternoon drink and we were close by it was a natural choice. Others ordered champagne cocktails or a beer but I just end wanted... More

I think there has been a misunderstanding. We have pulled your receipt and you were charged $3.25 for a hot buttery croissant with a glass jar of jam. Kind regards More

Good food, Great girls serving breakfast. However, if you don't want to pay for your butter and jam DONT GO THERE! Yep! That's right! If you want butter on your toast or jam for your pastry, you're going to pay for it! AND if you refuse to pay for it the owner will deduct it from your server. Wrong! Just... More

Condiments are priced ala carte because many customers do not want them. The croissant you ordered was a buttery croissant. We charge 65 cents per individual glass jar of jam. Employees have never been charged for customers not paying for what they ordered. Kind regards. More
