Great desserts and coffee for the non-drinkers!

We went here looking for dessert and coffee and came away, full, delighted and very happy! Yes, this is a bar; however, it's not a "raucous, out of control" bar. It is more like a quaint cafe style restaurant with a bar in it. My husband and I were. I siting Charleston for our anniversary, and I... read more

We stopped by after dinner, looking for a good dessert and drinks... Come to find out, we tripped right into such a fabulous place. The bartender was such a nice gentleman, and it was a warm and cozy atmosphere. But the BEST part was the amazing desserts. We had the Creme Brûlée and fresh strawberry & blueberry crepe. Both were... More

We were having friends visiting from Long Island, NY and invited them for an aperitif to East Bay Meeting House. We did have a very good time and friendly service, just like expected.

Small stylish restaurant / bar a block in from the waterfront. Far enough away from the tourist route to be (relatively ) quiet. Modern decor, friendly service, shaded tables on the sidewalk ( perfect for people watching ). A relaxed ,upmarket, Manhattan vibe. Salads, sandwiches , to die for cakes. A great place for a drink pre or post dinner.... More

We stopped here for a cocktail before dinner. The bar tender was friendly and mixed a good old fashion. The ambiance felt cozy - filled with instrumental music and candle light. Great stop.

In a stretch of East Bay Street crammed with restaurants, we spotted this small cafe. We chose to sit just inside the open french doors to watch the sidewalk while eating our lunch. Service was attentive and very friendly. Our sandwiches were innovative combinations, fresh, and prepared well. Our only regret was that we found it on our last day... More

My husband and I were looking for a bar or club geared to a more mature clientele. We stumbled across this gem and were blown away. Dim lights, Tony Bennett and Gaga singing in the background. A very sweet gentlemen who I assume is the owner and a lovely young lady waited on us. I had the grapefruit negroni which... More

This place is just adorable. So lovely inside. The staff is incredibly friendly and accommodating. I got a latte and it was made excellently. I cant speak to the food but if its as good as the coffee, I'm sure its wonderful. Such a cute place.

My niece and I stopped in for a drink. We both had versions of an espresso martini. The twist? They put in a Ferrero Rocher candy as the 'olive' for the martini. Yum. The people at the bar were friendly and we all had a good time talking about our visits and making recommendations as to where to go next.... More

Stopped for coffe and breakfast sandwich and pastry. It was a cozy local type place with a nice little bar area. Will definately stop for cocktails in evening, when we return to Charleston
