Lovely restaurant, great service

We dined here for dinner. Staff were very friendly and happy to provide a fish selection that had only been available at lunch. At the carriage tour desk we had also picked up a coupon for fried green tomatos/okra - which was delicious. We also had the she crab soup, halibut w. rice, and tuna... read more

Nice environment and a great server. Our server was upbeat and helped us make our selections. (Danielle) We agreed as a group that the food was good but not memorable. We felt that the portions were a bit on the small side and we left feeling that things were a bit expensive for what we got. So sorry to say... More

We had a great dinner with friends on a Saturday night. Our waitress was lovely and recommended great dishes. My husband and I enjoyed fresh fish dishes while our friends enjoyed the steak and Risotto. All were excellent! Fun atmosphere, our only note was it was a bit loud. Didn't seem to bother us too much just a side note.... More

Food was average at best. The service by Francis was very bad. I felt like I was at a seafood Sizzler. YUK!

This was our last dinner out during a long weekend in Charleston, and by far the best meal considering all aspects - food, service and atmosphere. The local oysters were fresh, the ceviche just right, the crab shrimp cake a surprising and tasty alternative to standard fare, the shrimp corn dogs just plain fun. The service was informed, well timed... More

We didn't know anything about this restaurant but spotted it and went in for a late lunch. We have lots of raw oysters near home and we were pleased that in addition to our familiar ones we could try local ones - wonderful! The server was extremely attentive, all the food great, and the space very pleasant. A good find!

We had a fantastic final meal in Charleston at Amen Street. Our server, Michael, was very informative, friendly, and attentive. We really enjoyed the fried green tomatoes with pimiento cheese, the she-crab soup, and the tasty shrimp "corn dogs". The local oysters were salty and delicious. We also had the crab cakes entree- the whipped potatoes were buttery and the... More
