We were there on Christmas Day and had their Christmas dinner there since we stayed at the hotel. It was $40 per person 3 courses dinner. I had Onion soup, short rib and cream brûlée. Soup was very salty and it was Luke warm. Short rib was not flavorful at all. Cream brûlée is probably the best out of the... More

Nice bar, good TV viewing and a decent menu for a hotel. I had the corn chowder and fried egg hamburger, both were very good. Several members of our party had various flat-bread meals and were please as well.

This is a hotel restaurant that went above the expectations of a typical hotel meal. The breakfast buffet was simple and reasonably priced. This is not a mega buffet with average food. This is select choices. The choices were made daily and were fabulous. Besides their changing selections, they offer made to order eggs and waffles daily. The first day,... More

While not a destination restaurant, Saffire is a very good hotel restaurant. I ate dinner and breakfast at Saffire and was pleased with both. Service was good, and both were good experiences. For dinner the meat and cheese tray and Greek salary were excellent! The tray contained an excellent selection of meats and cheeses. The salad was fresh with a... More

Since I was staying at the hotel and don't have a rental, tried this place. The buffett lunch was reasonably priced at $12.00 and you had a good selection to choose from. Do check it out!

The service was great, what we ate was really good, a very pleasant experience. The full breakfast was fabulous and we ate the flat bread appetizers in the evening, delicious and extremely reasonably priced.

There is absolutely no reason to eat here if you have any means to escape the hotel. Service was borderline. Slow and surly even though the restaurant was only about a third full at dinner time. Everything was slow-drinks, food, getting the bill. Food was way overpriced for the quality and preparation. Atmosphere is that of a hotel lobby. My... More

Thank you for your candid feedback of Sapphire and the very positive remarks you made about the convention service and food that you were provided while at the Charleston Marriott in your review of the Hotel. We truly need to match our service levels in Sapphire to those that you expressed were very impressive while your convention was here. I... More

Service was terrible, food bland and overpriced. The breakfast buffet was the only good thing there but watch the OJ. they like to switch from real to watered down stuff. We stayed in the hotel 3 night for a wedding so we got the feel of several days. One evening we waited 45 minutes to get seated and there were... More
