Great fish tacos

Had the Fish Tacos.. was just the right amount. You have to expect hotel bars/restaurants will cost a little more. My wife had a flat-bread pizza and with 2 drinks the cost was $35.

During a recent stay at the hotel we (wife and myself) decided to have our evening meal in the restaurant. We started with an appetizer of the Meat & Cheese Board for I think $10. It was a combination of different cheeses and bread and quite tasty, served on a small platter. Our main Entree consisted of the grilled Ribeye... More

I enjoyed two (2) meals during my stay at the Marriott Charleston. Prices were very reasonable and customer service was great. My first dining experience, Paris was my sever and she was absolutely outstanding and checked often to see if things were ok. Ordered themStrawberry & Apple Salad; one with chicken one without. Delicious!!! I also tried the Shrimp &... More

I had breakfast several times while staying at the hotel during a conference. I did get the buffet because to order from the menu was time consuming from what I could see and by the time you add coffee to your meal, you may as well get the buffet. That being said, it is not my favorite way to go.... More

We had lunch here one day while staying at the Charleston Marriott. Flatbreads for both of us and they were really delicious, much better quality than the usual hotel restaurant!

Saffire is the restaurant in the Charleston Marriott. The food was a bit pricey, as you would expect in a hotel restaurant. There are few dining choices in the immediate area other than fast food. Saffire has a captive audience because of the hotel guests. I would not go out of my way to eat here, but it works when... More

We were there on Christmas Day and had their Christmas dinner there since we stayed at the hotel. It was $40 per person 3 courses dinner. I had Onion soup, short rib and cream brûlée. Soup was very salty and it was Luke warm. Short rib was not flavorful at all. Cream brûlée is probably the best out of the... More

Nice bar, good TV viewing and a decent menu for a hotel. I had the corn chowder and fried egg hamburger, both were very good. Several members of our party had various flat-bread meals and were please as well.
