We went here last year for breakfast because of all of the great reviews. I was expecting more. The breakfast was average. Not great, not bad.

Pre-cruise Sunday brunch about 20 minutes from the port. Party of 8 and they thankfully took and honored reservations as there were lots of people waiting. Lots of variety on menu and even some great sounding specials (my daughter had one - German chocolate pancakes with toasted coconut - huge portion - she ate 1 and exclaimed they were absolutely... We stopped here on our way to a plantation tour - it is only a few miles from the Ashley River sites. Super friendly waiter who gave us some suggestions for dinner restaurants in Charleston. The nice locals at neighboring tables also chimed in so we felt very welcome. Good variety of breakfast dishes - classic stuff like eggs, bacon,... More

Nice waitress. But that's all. Went for breakfast while on vacation. Read reviews saying the place was great. The potatoes tasted like vinegar and were soggy, one of my poached eggs was way over cooked, the hollandaise sauce was nasty, it was very tart and watery. I will never go here again! Yuck!

Had breakfast with friends on Sunday morning before leaving on a cruise out of Charleston. The food was very good and the waiter was extremelly friendly. Our orders came out quickly and the atmosphere was very nice. I would recommend this establishment for anyone looking for a good meal in the West Ashley area.

I live in the area and have forever passed this place but never stopped in. Decided to give them a try this past Sunday morning and I was not disappointed. In our party of four everyone liked what they had and the portions were very good for the price as well. The staff was friendly and the service was quick... More

I have to have breakfast here every time I visit the Holy City. Hands down, best grits. Ever. Always a smile from the wait staff. Very good food. Never matters what I order (in addition to grits), it is tasty. A gem.

My wife and I stopped there for Sunday breakfast. We had to wait a bit, but that's to be expected on Sunday mornings at any decent restaurant. The owner/manager(?) told us that next time we should call ahead and make a reservation, which we'll do the next time we're down in the Charleston area. We were both quite happy with... More

Food was great, atmosphere was delightful. Very laid back, hometown feeling. A little pricy ( but competitive for the area) but you get a lot of delicious food!
