We had the standard eggs, potatoes, sausage and biscuit -- and everything was good! Eggs done perfectly. The standard potatoes were unusual, with worcestchire sauce, onions and peppers. Get there early as its not open for dinner, just breakfast and lunch. They are famous for their omelettes and having experienced one of them I can see why. I am not a person that likes grits but their grits made me a fan. Its not fancy by any means but the food is delicious, the place is clean, the... More

Extremely disappointed! Tables sticky. Trash on floor. Given a menu then after selecting our items were told we couldn't get lunch items ... We came for Charleston's best sandwich ... But couldn't even get a BLT without tomato ... What would that be? Yes-basically bacon and bread - both breakfast items but I guess that was too difficult. Again extremely... More

Yummy omelette, pancakes, and waffles. Food was awesome! And, the service was good too! We will definitely go back next time we are in Charleston!

Little hole-in-the-wall, recommended by Drayton Hall Plantation. The shrimp & brie omelette was excellent, as were the grits with cheese. But it was the biscuits that blew our minds. We have had the hockey pucks and the greasy variety, these were perfect. Oh, and the service? Personable and perfect. Find it and eat there, but bare in mind, it has... More

Tucked away in an unpretentious location is a wonderful gourmet surprise. Serving breakfast and lunch, the Sunflower Cafe is well worth a visit when you visit the Plantations near Charleston. The place is bright and cheery, service excellent, and food - beyond description. Since I was with several people, we got a chance to taste different items on the menu.... More

Very good reviews, so we thought this was a real find for breakfast. I ordered the ham and cheese omelet, which was so-so in taste, and my wife ordered the spinach, feta and sun-dried tomatoes, which lacked in feta and the sun-dried tomatoes were tough. The home fried potatoes were soggy, and when I mentioned it, I was told next time... More
