My husband and I honeymooned in Charleston and Toast was our place of choice for breakfast 5 of the 7 days we were there. The service was wonderful, they were fast and always got our orders correct. The food was amazing. We each got something different each day and we were never disappointed. The only down side for us is... More

We ate breakfast at Toast on our last morning and found ourselves wondering why we hadn't tried it earlier. The omelets are great, bisquits large, French toast delicious and bacon crisp. Grits still can't compare to Alabama girts but everything else was outstanding. Service was good for such a busy place.

Small friendly breakfast place. Don't be discouraged by the line, it moves quickly. The host, servers and bussers are all very nice. The breakfast is delicious. Worth the wait.

We have been coming to Charleston for years and every time we are in town, we make a stop at Toast. The food is always delicious and it is a great place for the whole family. Our waiter, David, was great!

We love breakfast...and I love highly enjoy recommended breakfast joints. We wanted to come here on our last trip, but the wait was too long and our daughter was only 1.5 yrs old at the time. We didn't have time on our side if we were going to keep the day smooth for all of us. Our wait wasn't long... More

This place was is supposed to have French Toast recommended by NY Times, well I'm not sure how long ago it was since then but the dish is horrible! I ordered it and it was like a huge brick in front of me, it was almost burnt so I had to use a steak knife just to cut it because... More

Good breakfast food. I ordered the classic breakfast with poached eggs, grits and bacon. All, very good, although there was an extra charge for the cheese in the grits that I was not made aware of until I received the check. They did however, exchange the biscuit for fruit, so that was great. Our server, Jaclyn, was super nice and... More

What a great, friendly restaurant! I went there for breakfast since my hotel was just around the corner. I had the egg, bacon, & cheese biscuit sandwich with home fries. It was HUGE & scrumptious!! My server was very friendly too. I can't remember her name but she was quite tall :) I hope to go back one day to... More

Enjoyed a wonderful Sunday brunch here back in June. Food was outstanding, as were the Bloody Mary's. Our waitress Erica was friendly and attentive. The laid back atmosphere was very inviting. I would highly recommend Toast as a must for any visit to Charleston!
