Scallops and catch of the day (Grouper) were wonderful. Lovely atmosphere and attentive service. Great selection of wines. The Tuna appetizer was amazing.

We arrived early on a Friday night and a rather slow disorganized staff soon became a rushed disorganized staff. The distractions were so great that it was difficult to recall the details of the food but from what we remember, it was OK as was the ambiance. Energetic might be a polite way to describe the overall atmosphere. Please note... More

We visited Muse on Saturday night before the theatre. On the website, it stated there were specials for the Theatre but the waitress never asked us even though the postcard was sitting on our table. When I inquired about the "Theatre menu" she brought them, and then spilled my martini on the menu. Overall the food was fairly good even... More

Our dinners were great here on a recent visit on a Saturday night. The place was crowded, and could be loud at times, but not out of the ordinary of most places. We started with the Meza platter which was great and just right for 2-3 people. I had the scallops with succotash, and my mom had had the Shrimp... More

We were walking around the neighborhood, looking for one more place for a small bite to eat and a nightcap. Nothing was appealing to us, as establishments were looking too loud, crowded, too brightly lit, etc. As we walked down the small and narrow Society Street, we found our place! It appealed to us immediately because of the classic old... More

Went with 6 people. Seated in patio which is comfortable and enclosed. The service was excellent. Everyone loved their meals and the wine list for both bottles and glasses was extensive. Dessert was fabulous as well.

We enjoyed a wonderful dinner at Muse. They were very accommodating when we needed to change our reservation, and then when we still showed up late, we were seated pretty quickly at another table. We loved the old-house charm, although it was a bit loud. We were on a girls' trip, so we didn't mind, but if you're looking for... More

We (an international golf group of 26) arrived to find that they had expected us in May and not April. The upstairs private room was available and they got us in seats in a few minutes. Food was prompt, service exceptional, hospitality high. A simple salad was a rosette of salad with a bright dressing. The lettuce so fresh you... More

Muse is in an old Charleston single house, which is part of its charm. However, there was a home-made ramp leading up to the ground level piazza from the sidewalk which was broken and in disrepair. I am surprised no one had tripped on it. Luckily we navigated it to the reception desk. We were seated on the second floor,... More

My "signature" fish entree was bland, lacked color (it was supposed to be fried, but looked grey). My friend thought is was boring as well. I had eaten there in December, and it was better. The service was friendly, but I would not go back.
