Great food and 17 different flavors of Margaritas. We each had 2. They are small and a little pricey for the size, but good.

Usual long Mexican menu so decision is a chore but have never been disappointed with anything ordered at San Jose. Service is friendly and fast. A nice bar as well.

The service was great, they have a full bar (and they even stock Carta Blanca beer) and the food was okay. It was not all that authentic, using ground beef instead of shredded (for example). Serving sizes were smallish, which is fine for two seventy-something people.

My husband and I stayed at the Holiday Inn Express in Blythewood, SC and decided we would have dinner at San Jose, it was great. I had a margarita and we shared the shrimp fajita which was plenty for the 2 of us. Not sure why anyone would say their food was bland. The spice on the shrimp made you... More

The pricing is quite good, the service is pretty fast, the protions are large. However, the freshness of the ingredients is sometimes questionable. Plus, they seem to have about 6 or 7 ingredients to make their whole meny with, so at the end of the day, everything tastes pretty much the same.

The standard lunch meals are very good and the portions are generous for the price. Service is very personal. I ate way too much and was a bit uncomfortable all afternoon but it must've been good as I'm usually very picky! Just watch out you don't eat too many tortilla chips before your meal.

We stopped here on our way home from Florida. We stayed at the Holiday Inn Express right next door and wanted a quick meal. We love Mexican and were thrilled that there was one right there and we didn't have to drive..after our long drive up from Florida. We were in and out of this restaurant in 30 minutes at... More

Our group stays in Blythwood on our way to Edisto, SC every summer. We always eat at this restaurant. The atmosphere is friendly, the service fine and the food good as are the margaritas.

Stopped here coming and going to Kiawah. Food is better than at your average Mexican restaurant. Sure it does not live up to the Mexican food of the southwest, but this is South Carolina! Try the Cheesesteak Burrito, it was so large my hubby and teen daughter were able to split it. Refried beans were more authentic than at most... More

Great food and value. We were staying overnight as we traveled our 18hours home. Location was right next to our hotel and they even offer a discount to hotel visitors. The restaurant was clean and the salsa was great. Would visit again.
