A bit pricey

We stopped in on a Saturday night. The staff is very well informed. We ordered two of the specials...The swordfish which was suppose to have an Indian flare with curry and garam masala, but I could not taste either one, however the fish was cooked perfectly. My husband had the veal shank which... read more

My husband and I went to Pour Richards last night. We were tired from a long day and just went looking for a good meal. Well, we didn't find it at Pour Richards. It was so bad we really couldn't even eat it. Sometimes people have off days, I get it. I was exhausted from traveling through four states to... More

Don't understand all of the hype about this restaurant. The food is very over-priced and everything has sauce on it. The owner/chef is too busy chatting with his friends and doing "shots" to even care about the quality of the food. NEVER again!

Recently we dined at Pour Richards, certainly not our first visit as it had been a favorite of ours for several years. Unfortunately either we hit a bad night or the quality has taken a nosedive. Pour Richards was always a lively atmosphere as it was on the night we ate there. Dinners have gotten quite expensive - dinner that... More

We went with friends about a year ago and everytime I pass this restaurant I think of how pretentious the maitre d' was. There is little amosphere here, crowded (reservations taken to sit at the bar!), noisy (cement floor, metal chairs), food was just ok. Not returning.

The food was good . The service was pretentious especially the presentation of the specials, the atmosphere is like a sports bar and very noisy, at our table for 6 we were so tight we rubbed elbows,,Our reservation was moved earlier but here were several empty tables even when we left. You could not get bread rolls and butter,They do... More

Continues a proud tradition in the Hilton Head / Bluffton area of excellent restaurants located in mundane buildings. Everything our group had was really quite good. Very creative, verging on fearless food combinations. Food came out hot, cooked properly, and well seasoned. It'll take multiple visits to work way through the menu. Service was professional and entertaining.

The place is rather small with a husband & wife team. You really want to sit at the bar. Strongly Recommend calling for a reservation. All the small plates are great as are the flat bread - pizza oven behind the bar. Deserts are also super, so save room.

We recently relocated from DC area. We saw Pour Richards on TV and decided to give it a try. We joined a couple from our neighborhood. The restaurant is small. Very few tables. The placement of our table wasn't a surprise, because of the size of the restaurant, but none-the-less we were sat at a round table right in front... More

Visited friends from our hometown tonight. They recommended Pour Richards. We had already eaten at Neo and also Hogsheads Tavern. All are foodie places with fine food and drinks. Would have to recommend Pour Richards at the top of the list. They r known for wine but wife and I opted for versions of Old Fashions and Manhattans. Both were... More
